Vila Alice Bled - Adults only in Bled

Despite looking like it’s on the outskirts (on a map) everything is only about a 5 minute walk which is fantastic.

The room and views were also lovely but there are a few areas I’d say they can improve, such as:
the service here was almost non existent to be honest. The person checking us in didn’t really explain anything, just handed over the keys. But it later seems that you’re welcome to use the facilities at your own leisure - none of this was explained - it’s just on notices throughout the house and we worked it out ourselves.

We also came during the big heat wave where it often hit 35oC every day, and despite not having aircon in the room, it actually remained fairly cool. However, this would be an area I’d recommend where they could improve though as it’s not too intrusive to install one and would really make a difference. Especially as the windows barely open because of the magnetic shutters they’ve installed (see pic).

Furthermore, it would be good to make sure their instructions and services online are reflective of what they do. Such as, on booking.com it says you can reserve parking if you’re driving (they have 6 spaces) but then when requesting this with the hotel, they responded to say we don’t reserve parking and can’t guarantee you a space which is conflicting messages.

Only minor things really, so I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend here if visiting Bled again.

Vila Alice was the perfect respite place on our short trip to Bled. An easy walk down to the lake, very welcoming and hospitable hostess, and lovely accommodations.
It was nice to have full use of the kitchen, and space to work in the living area, along with the afternoon in the pool. It was perfect!

We came here for 2 nights for our wedding.. but I wish we could stay for much longer. I hope we'll come back some day. 🥰😇❤️

Lovely property, room was very comfortable and large. Staff were very nice, not there all the time but that worked out okay. Use of a kitchen and a nice gathering space , inside and out. And the hot tub was fantastic.

Vila Alice is very close to Lake Bled. Rooms are nice and spacious. Would have been nice if the bathrooms were better lit up. M/s. Neh (not sure about the spelling) is very kind and sweet to talk to. Parking is available so that is amazing. Definitely would like to come back.

Villa Alice is an absolute gem near Lake Bled. The location is fantastic: within walking distance of the water, yet wonderfully peaceful. One of the first things you’ll appreciate is the private parking – a real plus in a popular destination like Bled.

Breakfast is a delight: fresh, local, and lovingly prepared. Every morning we enjoyed delicious regional products served in a cozy setting. The hostess is incredibly friendly and helpful, with an eye for detail and always ready to share tips about the area.

The rooms and common areas are decorated with great taste and warmth, creating a true sense of home. You can tell this isn’t a standard hotel, but a place with soul and history – the beautifully renovated house radiates authenticity and charm. All around the property and garden, you’ll find quiet corners to relax with a book or simply enjoy nature.

In short: Villa Alice offers a unique blend of comfort, character, and hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

Superb location 10 min walk to the stunning lake. We were welcomed by a very friendly and knowledgeable lady from the Philippines Our room was large and spacious with window shutters to keep the heat out. No tv or air on, but that didn’t bother us. Small cafe down the road for breakfast. Would I recommend, yes. But not if you are infirm as your room might be up two flights of stairs

Really nice property in a perfect location. Walking distance to everything but out of the way of the busier areas
