The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. They try their very best to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as they can.
The rooms are newly renovated, nicely designed and always clean.
Thanks to the comfortable mattress we had a great night sleep!
The restaurant is right next to the hotel and they serve the most delicious pizza.
Prices are reasonable and the menu is full of options.
Overall we had an amazing experience staying at the hotel. Would 100% recommend it to anyone😉
here is what makes us (family) unhappy:
1) why garlic changed i guess 10+ years ago from being crushed to chopped. taste changes therefore on pizza and calamari.
2) why the bread you get with calamari was also changes long time ago to a tasteless unsoft version? no matter that filled calamari at kotnik have never been beaten from anyone else about taste, this is annoying.
3) why the cheese and ham on the pizza was changed in the last few years to cheap versions? taste is gone!
all these "small" changes finally took us the pleasure to visit kotnik for a food trip.
i know this post will not change anything but i feel better to have it written down and shared finally 😄
