We had dinner here in the quiet season in early February - the place was full and had a nice atmosphere. More upmarket and the food was phenomenal - loved mine and drooled over what I could see going to the other diners. The entire restaurant was staffed by one server who was excellent - quick, attentive and funny. Definitely recommend for a nice dinner.

We’ve always chosen this lovely family run hotel for our stays in the beautiful village of Kranjska Gora.
With the recent remodelling of the bathrooms this hotel now offers the best of modern boutique hotel accommodation coupled with outstanding customer service and a warm friendly welcome.

We enjoyed 4 nights in Room 2 which included a private balcony.
Impressive room, very clean and nice decor. Plenty of storage space.
Bathroom included L’Occitane products (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap) which was a nice touch.
Breakfast was delicious with both continental options and cooked items.
Complimentary coffee and cake provided between 1500-1700 for guests, perfect after a days activities.
Free parking for hotel guests on site. Location is perfect to walk into town.
We were checking out early in the morning before breakfast service started, so the staff very kindly prepared a packed up breakfast for us including fresh orange, fruit, croissant and breakfast rolls. Thank you this was very much appreciated.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay at Hotel Lipa.
The staff is very kind and went out of their way to make us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. The hotel has a great atmosphere to it and our rooms were spotless. Dinner was AMAZING and left us wanting to order one of everything on the menu. They deserve to be on the Michelin guide if it were up to me. We look forward to coming back again in the future.

Visited for lunch. Outside the touristy parts of Kranjska Gora, there is a lovely patio, shaded and secluded from the street. The menu is incentive, with many Slovenian specialties, but we simply relied on the hotel owner to make suggestions. Suggestions. Lovely zucchini and truffle pastas. Excellent wine and starters. The owner was a gem, friendly, helpful, it treated us like special guests. So much better than the touristy places in town and only a short walk to get to this wonderful little restaurant.

Very nice rooms, waking distance to the center- 5 minutes, special details everywere, perfect breakfast with a lot of choices, everyday new fresh pie, tiramisu and more.. Dinner is also very tasty. Absolutely try it, if you stay in Kranska gora.

Great Hotel in ski resort town in the Julian Alps. We wanted to drive over the Vrsic Pass and take the car train back. Mission accomplished! Very neat clean and quiet village. Accommodations are perfect!

We didn't stay at the hotel but had lunch in the restaurant. The service was terrible. Very slow although the place was not crowded. The two waiters were very rude and nonchalant. We order vegan meals which were unreasonably expensive for such small portions. There was dirt and a bug in one of the salads and the waiter didn't even apologize for it. We left the place hungry and in a bad mood. We will never return again.
