The Stay Songdo in Incheon

I strongly advise against booking this hotel if you value responsive customer service and reliable support during your stay. The property operates entirely through a self-service check-in and check-out system, and the lack of available staff created issues during my visit.

I arrived early to check in, but the entrance was locked and there was no staff present to assist. When I attempted to use the self-service machine, it was unable to locate my reservation, even though I had already booked the room online. I tried contacting the staff through the hotel’s app, but received no response. Because there was no assistance available and the system could not find my booking, I was forced to pay for another room using the check-in machine at the same hotel.

The same following morning, I returned at 11:00 a.m. to check out and requested that my existing reservation be canceled. Management refused, stating there were no refunds and that I could simply wait until 3:00 p.m. to check in again under the original reservation. Given the poor experience and lack of support, I made it clear that I did not want to stay at the hotel again.

Afterward, I received several unprofessional and discourteous emails from management. The hotel kept the payment for the original three-day reservation despite my inability to access the room and the issues caused by their system.

This hotel is a thief, the experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing due to the lack of assistance, poor communication, and refusal to resolve the situation fairly.
