First off, when trying to find the place, Naver Maps directed me to the building behind it, leading me down a side alley. When I finally found the correct alley, it was nighttime, and there were men smoking at the entrance, making it feel quite dirty. Although it's only a 3-5 minute walk from the subway station, my first impression was not good. Once inside, you could tell it was an old building. The photos made it look clean and fresh, but in reality, it felt a bit damp. The towels and blankets didn't smell pleasant; more like a stale water smell. On the second night, a cockroach appeared, and I had to flip my luggage over to catch it. I think the dining area and lounge space also need some improvement. Overall, it felt like visiting a bachelor's messy apartment.

Aroha Guesthouse was definitely worth it. I was traveling on a limited budget but wanted to stay close to Seoul Station and have a clean, peaceful place for my week in Seoul. I was very satisfied with the accommodation. The room was on the smaller side, but it met my expectations perfectly – it was well organized and very clean, which allowed me to enjoy quiet, restful nights. The guesthouse also provides all the necessary amenities, along with a simple breakfast. I would definitely stay at Aroha again if I return to Seoul.

Location is excellent. Close to Seoul station, it’s a hour ride with the train from airport. Walkable to downtown.

Overall it's good, but there are mosquitoes, so you need to use mosquito coils.

1. The hotel is perfect for backpackers, friends, and families on a short trip.
2. The location is very convenient to Seoul Station and the MRT.
3. The accommodations have all the basic amenities and feel like home.
4. The soundproofing is excellent, and the sleep quality is fantastic. I slept soundly every night.

Great hostel 5 minutes from the train station. There is a 7/11 store nearby. Walking distance to the main shopping street is about 30 minutes. Very simple breakfast is offered - coffee, bread, peanut butter, cereal, milk and yogurt. There is a cooler with clean water. The only thing was that there was some kind of stain on the blanket in the room, but otherwise it was quite clean. Also take earplugs - very poor soundproofing, you can hear your neighbors walking.

Small room. A little squeeze for 2 big luggage. Love that the provided breakfast. Simple breakfast of cereal and bread but a good start to your day. You can wash your clothes there too although we didn't use it. Soap available, but I'm not sure if you can use it. Please ask first. Perfect for backpackers. :)
