The location is a bit out of the way, about 4 kilometers from Myeongdong and Bukchon Hanok Village. It's close to Namsan Park, but the main issue is that there are no shops or restaurants nearby, making it quite isolated.

The location is convenient, and the concierge service upon exiting the hotel was decent. However, there was hardly any other service; they even started charging for toothbrushes. For a hotel costing over 2,000 a night, you'd think they wouldn't nickel and dime guests over something so small.

Overall clean hotel located right next to the Starfield Coex Mall which makes it super convenient. It's in the Gangnam area so take note of the time it takes and traffic to get across the Hangang to access other more local neighbourhoods like Seongsu and Hannam.

Great stay - the experience felt super luxurious and the service from staff was wonderful. The hotel design is beautiful, easy access to coex starfield mall & direct access to the subway. We went during Christmas time so it felt extra festive!

Overall it's a good hotel to relax in, and being located in the hills gives it a different feel. However, if I had to pick a downside, it would be that it's bit crowded. Aside from that, the prices are reasonable and the satisfaction level is high.

The hotel located quite remotely so not very convenient if you come to Korea for shopping and travelling around.

The Grand Walkerhill Hotel was so amazing! At the level and caliber of the hotel, it was a simple and grand hotel. Room itself was clean and loved the counter space where I sat to work and drink my coffee. Pressure of the shower was amazing!

The Shilla Seoul is truly a comfortable hotel. From its overall style to its architecture, everything is incredibly refined. It has a very 'old money' vibe but still feels incredibly welcoming and personable. This will definitely be my go-to hotel for my next visit to Seoul.

Hygiene: Stayed for three nights, and the cleaning was excellent every day. Environment: The environment is quite good, though the hillside location makes transportation a bit inconvenient. This hotel is super convenient, right next to the duty-free shop. The room was really spacious and much better and cleaner than any other hotel I've stayed at in Korea. Even after opening the windows and shutting off the heating since 8pm, by 1am the temperature was still 31 degrees. I had an unpleasant stay as the cleanliness is terrible. There were dust almost everywhere, and the room looks like it is under renovation, peeling paint. Condition of the fixtures were not good including the door frame being broken on the 2nd night. Staff was helpful when I raised these issue.

Overall, it was very good. The hygiene and service were excellent. The transportation was also quite convenient, with a mall downstairs directly connected to the subway, making shopping and dining great. The lounge stops admitting children after 4:30 PM, but everything else was fine.

Second time booking a room here. Really had an enjoyable stay. Was early and super tired from jetlag and feeling a little sick due to the extreme cold weather and the kind gentleman at the counter made an exception and allowed me to check-in early. It was a really kind gesture which really made my day. Room was clean and bed was comfy. No complaints at all.

The location is quite convenient. There's a mall right downstairs, and the supermarket in the basement has plenty of dining options and cafes. It's not far from the subway either. The environment was comfortable and clean, and the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The large public bath on B1 was incredibly relaxing after a long day. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try breakfast, but I'll definitely be back next time.

Great for families! The onsen is an added value to the hotel especially after tons of walking during the day and be back with the hot bath ton relax. The location is truly excellent, incredibly close to everything. I could easily walk to the duty-free shop, go back and forth, drop off my purchases, even head back to the hotel for a nap at lunchtime, and then continue exploring in the afternoon. Overall, its good  services are good.   Two of us tried the Chinese Guangdong food restaurant.  Honestly, not authentic and too much salt or MSG.  Very thirsty whole night.  The bill for 2 eaters is same as one night's room rate.  For the quality of foods served  it's not worth it.
