S'Hotelet d'es Born - Suites & SPA in Ciutadella

It's not a hotel, it's a house with rooms. The spa is a large, unheated jacuzzi. Very poor value for money. We were disappointed because we were expecting a hotel with a spa, and it was a house. However, it was well located and the service was good on the first day, because after that, no one was home.

Beware, this isn't a hotel, it's an Airbnb disguised as rooms. There's no reception, no staff, no services of any kind. It's a three-story building with rooms that have been locked. What they call a suite isn't one; what they call a terrace is just an interior light well they've painted and furnished with a table and cushions. There's no spa, just a large bathtub in the basement that's supposed to be a jacuzzi, but it doesn't work very well. It's poorly maintained and shows signs of neglect: rusty trash cans, rusty shower faucets, faucets that don't run due to limescale, a musty smell... The only way to contact them is through WhatsApp. There are no services whatsoever, not even staff or breakfast. You have to go looking for bars in town; they recommend one that isn't even open in the mornings. The only good thing about it is its location near the main square. Otherwise, it's a rip-off in terms of quality and price, with zero service and a deception for advertising itself as a 5-star hotel.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The room was small, damp, dirty, dark, smelled musty, and was noisy (construction in the adjacent building). No breakfast, no staff on site. No spa or pool, just a simple foot bath in the basement. It's outrageous to call this a 5-star hotel! Very expensive for what it was. We had booked 3 nights, left after the first night, and the manager refused to give us a refund. Outrageous!

Don't go here! Totally misleading. Photos do not correspond to reality. Price and quality not in proportion. The pool in the spa is cold. The rooms are small and damp. No service. No parking. No breakfast. No reception. The woman who opened the door for us had yet to arrive. Took 10 min. Not so nice when you just arrive. There wasn't even a hook for your towels and no shower hook for the shower head. I would say save the disappointment and the money. It's really not worth it.

Very bad quality/price. Facilities with very poor maintenance. Lots of damp smell, mold in the shower, lights not working, TV and shelves with a lot of dust (not from one day) cushions on the armchairs in the patio and inside are very dirty, the hose from the shower was black with rust. In general little maintenance concern
