This hotel is always exceptional and we visit very often due to its proximity to Torrecardenas hospital. In general the hotel has a great location.You can walk to the hospital or the staff will order a taxi which is about 5 euros and is there in 5 mins or less. We also walk to the Torrecardenas shopping centre which is even nearer.Similarly you can walk into the main tourist areas of the city too...

Spectacular stay, 100% recomended, the staff is amazing and super attentive. I even accidentally dropped my gold ring during breakfast and they saved it for me at the front desk. Very honest and attentive staff… they are the best!

Nice hotel with parking, located at the top of the Avenida del Mediterraneo, a little far from the center but convenient for a stopover on the way to the highway and next to a large shopping center. The bedding is very comfortable, The staff is very friendly. No tea, coffee, infusion in the rooms, which would be a plus.

Nice rooms. Two pools. Good breakfast. Beach side restaurant. Fabulous views from balcony. Be aware you cannot walk anywhere so either need a car or taxis to go to Almeria or Aguadulce.

Room was bright, view was epic. Pool bar an absolute rip off. Limited choice and non flexible menu. Taking advantage of no other eatery in the area.Noise all night from other rooms. Car parking good but expensive. My top tip. Take sandwiches !

The property is great, all rooms are facing the sea and the views are breathtaking. There are two swimming pools, the beach ⛱️ is just below the hotel. The room was fantastic, two queen beds and a balcony overlooking the Cabo de Gata. Great spot to enjoy the sea and relax

Hi there, this is a great hotel but its miles from anywhere. You cant walk on the main road there are no pavements and it is dangerous. Its manily spanish there , while we stayed there for ten nights met only one english couple.

Good, central location in Almeria close to the port and bus station. Competitive, low price, but you get what you pay for: a small, basic but clean, functional room. The bed and flat pillow were uncomfortable; the shower space was the narrowest ever. For me, it is a one night, In-and-out out type of hotel, not conducive to lingering.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay in this lovely hotel. The location is perfect, close to the beach and many bars and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful ,the standard of cleanliness was excellent. We would like to have been able to get English subtitles on the TV.

The hotel is in a good location, convenient for travel, and there are many restaurants around. The room is clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable, and the Wi-Fi signal is good. The hotel has a great location, very close to both the old town and the beach. It has its own parking garage, though getting in requires a bit of skill. Cleaning was very prompt. Surprisingly, breakfast included drinks, and the food was very fresh.

great hotel for value at a central location

Breakfast was awesome. Parking is about a block away and was 15 euros/day. Nice property.

The hotel is a good pick, if you lower your expectations. I wouldn't call this a 4 star hotel. With this hotel you should set your expectations to a 3 star hotel. The personnel is very helpful and kind and the location is great. But the rooms are noisy and the beds are uncomfortable. Have been to hotel many times but not since new owners. The thing that made this hotel so before was there parking facilities at the hotel. Hopefully this will return. Still no tea and coffee facilities in room so take our own. Room had a bath and could do with a handle for older people but hope they will refurbish and put walk in showers. All new staff at check in and very friendly.

Great location, room was spacious and comfortable. Positives comfortable bed, lovely balcony and a very good selection at breakfast and kept well stocked. High noise from street in evening and morning. Dirty shower, shower is inside a «box» with glass walls on the living room. So there is no separate bathroom, just enclosed shower area on one side on the reom and enclosed toilet on other side. Parking was not at hotel, but 200 meter outside hotel.

A beautiful hotel with a wonderful breakfast with many choices. Clean and big rooms. There is a parking garage available which is very big and not narrow for your car. People are very friendly who are working there. Its situated in a beautiful area with a nice roundabout with beautiful trees. Badroom had in 2 places a very little fungus in the corners of the badwindows, but not a problem.

The cleanliness was appalling, especially in the bathroom: mold in the bathtub and shower screen, encrusted limescale, a badly deteriorated door, broken sink plugs, etc. There are hotels with fewer stars that are in much better condition than this one. It needs a renovation! Although I must say the mattresses are comfortable.

The staff were friendly, very professional and always helpful. I loved the breakfast particularly as there were many options for maintaining a low cholesterol healthy diet as well as the many other delicious but more cholesterol laden options. Good coffee is easy to find in Spain, but the coffee in the Avenida is excellent.

No complaints, hotel staff very friendly, rooms spacious beds comfortable (twin beds in room) Bathroom had a shower in the bath, toilet, bidet and sink. Bedroom had a large unit with TV fridge chair & table lots of lamps, plenty of room in wardrobe, full length mirror. I am happy to recommend

Hidden Gem We stayed for 1 night on route to Granada and this is a beautiful hotel in a great location the staff were very efficient and polite. the room had had a queen size bed and we had a great nights sleep I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone if you find yourself in Almeria. The views were outstanding from the roof top terrace.

Excellent location, approx a 15min stroll to the beach and playa, also bus and rail station. Almeria city, one of the less over crowded places to wonder around in Spain in the cooler times of the day and year, with a wide and varied selection of shops etc, and great tapas bar.

Pleasant place Everything was great. Situated right next to the Cathedral in center. Parking was a problem but there was a garage close. Roof bar was great overlooking the Cathedral and square lots of great restaurants nearby.

As usual the reception staff were not exactly unfriendly, but not welcoming either. The room is very basic, with thin frayed towels and water in the shower which keeps going from hot to cold to hot again. Hotel bar is really unfriendly and often closed. Check in was with the sister hotel across the road. My main gripe was that the bathroom door wouldn't shut, due to the carpet/tile connector thing. It would never have shut. Goodness knows why this isnt a known problem. The reason for shuttingbthe door was to keep the street noise out.

Excellent clean and tidy hotel. Daughter left her purse in the room on check out. Purse was returned with everything intact by the hotel staff. Very good service and excellent caring staff. Breakfast in the downstairs eatery was also good.

Excellent small hotel in a perfect location for walking around Almeria, visiting historical sites and enjoying local food - tapas and local environment while avoiding the heavy tourism near the beach (only 15-minutes walk from the hotel). Staff were friendly and professional.

Everything was fine, except that I requested a double bed on the Tripadvisor app, and upon arrival I was informed that my request had not been sent to them and they gave me a room with 3 small beds.

The hotel is simple. It's well located. I really liked the breakfast (bread with tomato and ham was a plus), and the service was very good, both from the coffee maker and at reception. I especially appreciated the 1.5-liter bottle of water they gave me upon arrival and the small refrigerator in the room. Very central pet-friendly hotel. Close to the shopping centre, museums and the old town and castle. Good value. Very helpful staff. Simple rooms, but spotless with comfy beds. They can give you a special rate to park in Almeria’s main underground car park.

The only let down was the location . The staff were the best, Colombia especially. The room was immaculate , cleaned to a high standard everyday . Nearby bar, Bar Ruta, buy a drink choose a tapas for free

There are things that can be improved without requiring much investment, which would be very useful. First, for safety, the bathtub does not have a non-slip surface and it drains a lot, it is necessary to put something there for the safety of the clients and to avoid any unpleasantness. And...

Everything was great, good service, and there's always someone at reception. I didn't try the food, so I don't know how it was. The only drawback I can find is that there's a sign in the elevator that says there are vending machines on the first floor, but when I went, there weren't any. Overall, everything was perfect.

Parking is a bit tricky but I was always able to find a free space if you look in the residential area between hotel and plaza de toros. Except Friday nights when they limit parking for the market next day. In that case you can use the underground parking...

We had a short break in Almeria, unfortunately so did storm Joseph. Torrential rain and gales force winds did rather spoilt our visit but this beautiful hotel made our stay a happy one. The hotel is situated in the old area of the town and there are some derelict properties around but none of this matters when you step inside, a peaceful haven. Super quaint and charming boutique hotel! Excellent guest support, beautifully appointed hotel and room, unlimited coffee and water, two amazing common areas - one indoor and one outdoor, and awesome location. Only drawback for me was the tub/shower. You had to step quite high to enter and it was a bit tricky esp as I recently had knee surgery. I suspect it could be tricky for others too.
