The hotel is easy to find

It's very old, all the facilities are dated, and the toilet door doesn't even lock. It feels more like a hostel than a hotel. There's even a crack in the toilet.

The hotel is directly opposite Plaza de España, making it very easy to find. There's free parking nearby, which saved us over ten euros. It's not far from the main attractions, basically within walking distance. The room facilities and decor are pretty ordinary. Hotels in Spain are generally not cheap, and during the National Day holiday, it felt like the value for money wasn't great.

It’s close to the Spanish plaza but a bit far from other city center attractions. Room was average but the price was cheaper than others.

Location is excellent; just cross the road is the lovely Plaza de Espana and restaurants are within walking distance. Air-conditioning is powerful and no complaint on that. We booked 2 rooms, were given dated room for 3 person; lights not functioning, mouldy fridge & shower and an very old wardrobe in the room; thank you to Trip.com team for organizing the change of room on the second night. There were OK but cleanliness wise will need improvement, can see trace of glue on the floor and dirty stain on the wall.

The hotel is rated 4*, but I would rate my room 1*.
It was VERY OLD FASHIONED, the tiles in the bathroom were dirty and the bath was so old it did not have a shine on it. I have never been in a hotel room (4*) that did not have tea/coffee facilities, or paper tissues. I asked for a change of rooms but was told there weren’t any available. I did not want a superior room or a suite, but I certainly didn’t expect a room like the one I was given. The one feature which was ok, was the air conditioning.

The Housemaid service was excellent, the road was excellent, Breakfast was ok, the Bar was only open once in 5 days, very poor

Near Praza Spain is a residential area, not a downtown area in Sevilla. This hotel does not offer a slippers, coffee pot, & even a bottle opener in the room, the safe doesn't see the numbers in the unmanaged room, the drawer smells and make coughs. No tissues are provided in rooms. Not a four-star hotel by any means, and it would be appropriate to rate it at 2.5 stars. I recommend you to book a downtown other hotels in Sevilla

Visited San Marco 3 years ago. Enjoyed so much, we decided to revisit when we returned to Seville. Sadly, it was nowhere near as good the second time around. Arrived 10 minutes early for a table booked for 8:30. Instead of offering us drinks and the menu, we were man handled out of the door and told that they were closed. As there wasn't anywhere around , we decided to wait until 8:30 and try again. We were showed to a table and given the menu. We decided on the tasting menu which had a choice of lamb or salmon for main course. When the waitress took the order We said that we would have the tasting menu and then proceeded to tell her that 2 of us would have the salmon and 1 would have the lamb. At that stage she forgot that we had ordered the tasting menu and just brought out the salmon and lamb. The bread brought to the table was stale and the whole meal was mediocre. When we asked if they could arrange a taxi for us they told us to go to the hotel next door. We ended up starting to walk back to our hotel, which would probably have taken us about 45 minutes. Fortunately, a taxi came along and we managed to flag him down. Needless to say, when we next visit Seville, we won't be returning to San Marco.
