Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento in Seville

This hotel is very nice. It has a big swimming pool which is indoors and outdoors ,and since we were travelling with kids it was a favourite for them. The buffet is worth it because of the great food and chef making food like eggs right in front of you. It is really humongous and their service is really kind even when we tried to speak our broken Spanish to them. One thing that I want them to improve is that the rooms could be a bit more spacious and to get to the main square / market in Seville it's at least a 15 - 20 minute walk. Overall you should come here.

The highlight of my stay at the hotel was having night drinks at the hotel bar, where I was served by Carlos. I tremendously enjoyed our conversations and the drinks he prepared. When I asked about the origin of some of the gin, he immediately brought out a beautiful book on the subject, showed it to me, and answered my questions as I flipped through it. In my opinion, this is what a proper bartender should be like, and it definitely made my experience at this beautiful hotel even more enjoyable.

Thank you Carlos! You helped us with a restaurant recommendation and were super friendly. But more importantly the cocktails were genuinely very very good! I have had many pornstar martini’s and yours was genuinely the best. My partner also had a great spicy margarita. Thanks for the hospitality!

Hotel is very clean, staffs are very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are spacious.

Especially the bar at the hotel was perfect! They serve the best cocktails at Copas Viajeras (!). Go there!! Alejandro and Carlos are real cocktail architects, tell them what you want and they serve you the best drinks. Besides that the atmosphere they create is just very relaxed and enjoyable. This hotel really surprised me in a very positive way. From the outside, my first impression was, “What is this? This is a 5-star hotel in Europe?” But once I stepped inside, my opinion completely changed. The hotel is very nice and clean, with great bars, markets, and an excellent pool area and gym.

Although the hotel was pretty empty and a bit quiet, we still had a really good experience here. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was outstanding—one of the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve stayed in a few hundred hotels over the years). They offered fresh smoothies, fresh orange juice, a wide selection of food and desserts, as well as some cooked dishes.

The location might not be 100% ideal, but for such a large resort, it makes sense that it can’t be in the middle of the city center. Parking was free on the street next to the hotel, and on a weekday night (Wednesday) there were plenty of spaces available.

Overall, I really enjoyed this place and would be happy to come back anytime!
