It couldn't be more perfect. The rates are unbeatable. It is the most affordable short-term stay I have ever encountered in all my travels. Yes, the single bed rooms are small, but it is extremely comfortable given its size. The bathroom is sparkling clean (it is partially unstocked, there are plenty of clean towels, toilet paper and a soap dispenser, but bring your own bath soap, shampoo, and lotion). There is free high-speed wifi, cold AC, and about 25 local restaurants that deliver right to the room. The bed was clean and comfortable. There is a bit of outside noise that permeate the walls, but it is still a good night's sleep. The common areas are beautifully designed and comfortable. It is technically walking distance from the historic district, but if walking 20ish minutes isn't your idea of a vacation, then hop to local bus for €1.40. We loved our stay so much, we checked in for an extra night.

The building was very clean, the room was air conditioned and the beds were comfortable. Not to mention the staff were very friendly and hospitable. The only downside was the breakfast on offer, but what they do have is very cheap. The location is superb; next to the bus stop and 10 minutes drive to the old town.

Hostal Toledo is a great choice for a short stay. I would say they offer 3 star quality. The stuff does not speak English much, but you can understand each other :). Hostal Toledo is not far from the central part, but we had a car (there is no much parking space in the city center though). There is also a bus or you can go there walking. There is an underground parking (extra chagre). Recommended!

You can take bus No. 5 from Toledo Train Station; the environment is very quiet, the room has a floor-to-ceiling window that can be fully opened ~ It is very close to the old town of Toledo, a one-kilometer walk or a very convenient bus ride

On 28th April I was stranded in Toledo on a day trip from Madrid due to the nationwide power outage . The proprietor could not have been more helpful , accommodating a party of 10 in very comfortable rooms , advised us where we could buy food and letting us picnic (!)in his breakfast room , only charging a very reasonably price when he could have profiteered from our situation . Breakfast was delicious too . Thank you Elvis ( yes his real name ) can’t recommend more highly

Fantastic for our needs lovely staff, easy walk in about 10/15 mins great park before you enter the city,great for start or end of your day for a drink,fantastic walled city need a full day to appreciate its splendour

The room was clean and quiet at night, I had a great sleep. Breakfast is simple. It is still one kilometer away from the ancient city. The bosses are two brothers. We had a great chat with the boss yesterday, but today’s meeting was still so lively. What you told me once yesterday, why are you telling me again today? Aha😝It turns out that the boss has a twin brother who runs a small hotel with him👯♂️
