Hotel Santa Isabel in Toledo

Choosing this hotel felt like a stroke of pure luck. From the very second we stepped inside, we were wrapped in that unmistakable, enchanted Toledo atmosphere. Everything—from the historic character of the building to our lovely room and that breathtaking terrace—was even better than we had dreamed.
A huge, heartfelt thank you to Juan, whose warmth and professionalism made us feel right at home. He took care of everything (including the tricky parking!) and enchanted us with fascinating historical stories that brought the city to life. We also want to send a special thank you to Maria for her wonderful help.

We had a great 2 night stay in Toledo, such a wonderful city. Juan at the Santa Isabel was exceptionally helpful . Lovely old world hotel with real character, great building, right near the Cathedral and yet very quiet.

We stayed at Hotel Santa Isabel for 3 nights from September 9-12 and had the most incredible and warmest stay all due to Juan. Juan made us feel welcomed and took the time not only with us but with the other guests whom we saw him interact with. The hotel was extremely clean, well maintained and calm. Our room was really comfortable with good mattresses and linen.The view from the rooftop patio was just magical and we really enjoyed our glass of wine each evening looking at the most magnificent view of Toledo, its wonderful cathedral and the alcazar. We loved our stay so much that this made us fall in love with Toledo. We spent 2 weeks in Spain and this was definitely the best and warmest service we received from anyone. Thank you Juan for making our stay just perfect.

Our stay at Hotel Santa Isabel was amazing. Although we only had one night in Toledo, we felt so welcomed. Juan at the front desk was a wonderful host, with excellent food recommendations and helped us explain to our taxi driver what we wanted to see. The views from the terrace are just amazing.

This hotel is located in the center of old Town only steps from the main plaza and the huge basilica. It really feels like you are on a movie set when you step outside the doors. The hotel building itself is just as old as the surroundings but nicely renovated for modern use. Small rooms with AC, shower with hot water and great water pressure. Friendly staff and free parking under the building if space is available. I would recommend to reserve a spot when you book your room. Parking is very limited inside the medieval walls of the city. The drive through Toledo to get to the hotel is not for the faint hearted; very narrow streets and cobblestone roads. Great rooftop terrace with incredible views as well. Walking distance to anything in Toledo!

Hotel Santa Isabel is a charming stay in the heart of Toledo’s old town, just steps away from a stunning cathedral and within easy walking distance of the city’s most beautiful spots, including great bars and restaurants.

We stayed for two nights and found the room to be simple, clean, and very comfortable—great value for the price. There’s also a lovely balcony on Level 3 with sweeping views of the landscape, perfect for a quiet moment.

Our host, Joaquín, was a true gentleman—welcoming, helpful, and full of excellent suggestions for exploring the city.

We’re already planning our next trip to Toledo, and we’ll definitely be staying here again.

The hotel I stayed at in the old city of Toledo was fantastic. Although the room was listed as only 13 square meters, it was actually quite spacious. The breakfast was also delicious, and it felt incredibly luxurious. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff were very welcoming and sent an email reminding me to book parking in advance if I was driving. Their service was excellent.

It was so good… I thought it was a good idea to stay in Toledo ㅎㅎㅎ The cleanliness of the room, the friendliness, the view, the breakfast, the location, everything was so good :)

This small hotel is a renovation of an old house in the ancient city. It is close to a public parking lot, a 5-minute walk away, and about 1 kilometer away from the cathedral and other major attractions, so it is quite convenient. But there are no restaurants or supermarkets next to the hotel. The room is small but quiet. Breakfast is freshly prepared for each person, which is OK, but it only starts at 8 o'clock. If you want to leave early, you need to arrange breakfast by yourself.

Fantastic hotel, great location, stunning view from the rooftop terrace, good breakfast. It was a bit hard to walk about 700 meters with the suitcase after getting off the bus, but it was definitely worth staying.
