Very affordable price and a good location, but overall a disappointing stay. The room number we received by email didn’t exist in the building and reception was empty. After calling support, we were told the room was actually in another building, which was never communicated beforehand. Even there, the room number didn’t exist, so it felt like we were expected to somehow guess where to go.
When we finally found the room, it smelled strongly, likely coming from the shower. The shower drain was clogged so the water kept rising, and the sink also overflowed easily. The curtains kept falling off, and we even found hairs in the bed sheets. The TV also had no signal.
The sound insulation is also very poor — you can clearly hear every noise from the corridor and the street.

The location is incredible. You are right next to a castle and a steep hike up takes you to shops. Just remember: the same code for your room also unlocks the door of the building if no receptionist is on duty. The beds were adequate. (July 2025)

We stayed on a festival weekend so it wasn't that cheap, however. We l Loved our 2nt stay and were happy we chose Hotel Dol. Had an excellent stayin rm 104 upstairs with balcony and views over city to left and opposite leading up to Plaza Zocodover. Parked our car outside walls by Tourist Info Centre as Hotel was only a 4min walk inside walls and plsd we did that as access is very narrow. Rm was spacious and clean; good powerful shower, comfortable bed, aircon, and everything within walking distance so location is perfect. If you want tea/coffee, take yr own travel kettle etc. Breakfast is a bit meagre at €4 for 2 pieces of toast with jam and coffee, but bar on corner walking up from Hotel Sol serves an excellent desayuno for €6.50 pp, inc coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Can totally recommend both!

Very nice location near the center of Toledo. It's a short walk to the Old City but also near some neat shops and restaurants in the opposite direction. It is a few steps away from the busier streets, so it remains a safe (from the crazy cars) and quiet oasis. The accommodations are clean and modern. I like that the in-room lights need a key-card to turn on: It means you always know where the key is and if you forget to turn off the lights, they will automatically shutoff anyway. Toledo days are hot, and our air conditioner works well and quietly. It even has a little robotic arm (which I really liked) that changes the direction of the air current. The front desk manager welcomed us in Spanish but, since we looked lost and helpless, he switched languages until he landed on a greeting that we recognized. He was warmth and kindness itself. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends and hope to one day come back.

The place location is great, between Plaza Bisagra (downhill) and downtown (uphill) being in a walking distance to both. Very close by is the miradiore which is a location to a have a look from above on the city and take pictures of sunset. The room is not bad but air-condition is slow and you might want to leave it on while you are not there. And you might hear some noise as well. The view from the terrace is a bird view (mine was junior suite, otherwise I don't think it has great views). No breakfast available (only coffee and toast, so I never tried). The staff is very helpful in explaining everything you need to know with a map. They will also recommend local places to eat and drink if you want to avoid touristic places. Very close to El Tribol which I recommend highly.

I suggest you walk downtown, lovely streets and ambience with long history and lovely places. I think the hotel is overpriced but not bad for a 2 Star hotel.

Small buy cozy and super clean! Nice bed sheets and pillows. Very close to the center. My wife, baby and I were very happy.

A very nice hotel. Recently renewed with a very kind and enthusiast staff.
The hotel is well placed in the center of the old medieval city. The steel armor standing in the lobby brings us into that medieval ambiance.
The rooms are very welcoming with wood carvings and mozaics.
One would definitely appreciate the authenticity sweating out of those walls.
A really good place to stay to appreciate the visit of Toledo.

Confortable rooms, great situation, is so easy visit toledo to this point, you have the zocodover squre at 7 minutes.

Fab restaurant with beautiful food at s good price. The dry ice under the Parasols is a fantastic idea. You can eat your meal in comfort when it's 34 degrees in the blazing sun.
