My partner is pregnant, and upon arriving at the hotel, we found that our room was on the first floor with no elevator. The least we expected was a bit of help with our luggage, but the receptionist, a man in his forties, didn’t even flinch. Not a kind word, not a smile, and certainly not a gesture of courtesy. His attitude was cold, unpleasant, and completely inappropriate for someone working in customer service.

In contrast, the rest of the staff was friendly, especially the elderly lady in charge of cleaning, who was exceptionally kind. However, the receptionist’s rudeness left such a negative impression that it overshadowed everything else. It is unacceptable that in an industry where customer service is crucial, there are employees like him, lacking the slightest bit of empathy or professionalism.

In countries with higher service standards, such as Singapore, formal training in tourism is required, and customer service is taken seriously. Here in Galicia, attitudes like this only harm the region’s reputation and the experience of those who visit. If the hotel wants its guests to leave with a good impression, it should start by ensuring that its staff treats customers with the respect and kindness they deserve.

I chose this for its good price and proximity to the central bus station, but was very pleased with the good quality. It's an older building, but everything was clean, functional, and all the necessities were supplied. My only complaint is that the beds in my room were a bit short. I think they were 6' exactly, and I'm 6' tall, so feet hung off a bit. Great place for a good price.

A good welcome, this place is close to the bus station which made it great for coming from the airport on our first day and for getting to Ferrol the day after. Reasonable price, quiet and clean. Would have stayed on the way back but they were fully booked.

Restfull stay
Good economic stay. Well placed for travelling with the train. Nice and friendly owners. Room size ok.
Too bad there was no breakfast at the place, but there was a very close cafe that had good breakfast.

The reception staff could speak simple English that helped a lot for the quick checkin upon our arrival at night. Room with basic amentities, valued for money as for a night stay before travelling to Ferrol the next day (bus station in 3 min walk)

Don't know how this place is rated 3 star. We just got off the Camino Norte and after staying in Pensions and Hotels and hostals for over 50 nights, this is up there in the top five worst. Noisy after after 3 am. Walls paper thin. Sounded like someone was vacuuming the next room at midnight. Wouldn't give us the pass code to change the language on the television. Kept our key when we went out for the day like we couldn't be trusted with it. Never had anything like that in two months in Spain. It was clean. That's only good I can say.

Avoid like the plague. Treatment of disabled guest shameful. More to follow. First I
I need official denunciation. Never been so humiliated. All because I move slowly due to artificial leg and medicine. They threw all my belongings in the hall way as I was not ready for 12 check out. Now missing bank card and had to pack and get dressed humiliated in hallway.
