Urbansea Bex Hotel in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Me and my partner stayed here so we could see the Rally Canaria.
Modern , clean , polite staff . Breakfast was good with plenty of choice . And the dining room is the vaults of what was a bank . Our room did have a door on the bathroom....
The 12th floor terrace offers 360deg views of the port and countryside.
Plenty of places within a 5 minute walk to eat and drink at .
The only minor niggle was our TV had every European channel except any English speaking ones ....

Facilities: There is a gym, but no parking. There are many places to put things in the room, with a hair dryer and a safe, but no refrigerator.

Hygiene: It can only be said to be average. There are ants on the sink because the bathroom is not sealed tightly.

Environment: The overall environment is good.

Service: Good, the front desk reception is serious and responsible. But the English is not very fluent.

This hotel is a three-star hotel, which is okay for this price in Europe. The hotel is retro and fashionable as a whole, and the lobby is spacious. There are air conditioners and desks in the room. The overall lighting is okay, but the desk lamp is not very bright. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom, but the wind is relatively small. The bottom seal of the side wall of the bathroom is a bit broken, resulting in ants on the sink. The hotel has no parking lot, and can only park in the ** parking lot next door, €17 a day. The breakfast is very unpalatable and expensive, €17 per person. There is a gym, but it is not 24 hours. People with mysophobia do not recommend staying here, you can look at Livvo next door. The location is okay, there is a bus 5 minutes walk away, and there is a taxi stand 2 minutes away.

We were treated very well. The bank-style decor is very original due to the building's history. The breakfast was complete with omelets made to order. We were very comfortable.

Very Smart hotel...Rooms very stylish. Breakfast very nice, buffet style, big choice.. no restaurant.
Roof top bar nice, great views, small sunbathing area with very small pool for a dip to cool only.
Gym is small.

This is a nice hotel run by friendly staff. It is in a good location that allows you to walk to anywhere in La Palmas in max 25 mins. The beds are comfortable including the pillows! The shower is very good and in the room I stayed in (808) on the 8th floor it was quiet. The bank theme makes it a bit different and I liked it as it was better than the normal boring decor of thousands of hotels. The breakfast was excellent. I went in February. I recommend it to you.

Great central location close to beach, shops and restaurants. The majority of staff were really helpful and some required to be more attentive and friendly. We stayed for 6 nights in room 907. Great view of city. Our bedding and towels changed daily, though not thoroughly cleaned daily. Just at beginning and end of stay. Rooftop bar is sadly underutilised. Beautiful views-Great potential to expand and perhaps serve for bar snacks with a bit of outdoor heating in cooler evenings. Continental breakfast had something to suit everyone. We asked about a 20 min slightly later checkout for next day and were told straightaway no. A microwave at breakfast would be a bonus and more
cheerful/helpful staff. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay at Bex, but there is some room for improvement, It is ideal for couples or business customers on a short city break.

Overnight stay. Central location. Staff very helpful and attentive. Rooms pleasant & comfortable. Great rooftop bar and relax area with fantastic views.
