Lovely villa with pool surrounded by jungle. Monkeys jumping across the roof during early mornings. Great breakfast and dinner options for a reasonable price. Catered a bbq for 20 people that was very good. The owner is very attentive, at times a bit too much, and lives in the house.

The villa was beautiful, clean and lovely gardens. There was really nothing wrong, except atmosphere. The Hotel does not encourage you to spend the day and enjoy the beautiful pool area. Never offered an alcoholic drink, Never offered a menu of any sort, either drinks or food. Its all a bit slapdash. Staff were lovely, but it felt like we were in the way. We had one evening meal. The wifi is not acceptable for 2024. I liken it to staying at grannies. We were in trouble for some minor infringement everyday.

I spent 4 night in Boutique Villa Shanti at Hikkawaduwa. It was a high privilege to stay in this luxury mansion in traditional architecture. The service is like a 5 star palace. The rooms are very large. Perfect beddings. Breakfast à la carte included. I had dinner twice in the hotel, it is the best restaurant of Hikkaduwa. Price are affordable for this level of quality. It is very quiet and we slept very well. The host is very warm and welcoming. It is a small chateau. I hope to come back soon. I recommend vividly.

Much more than a villa. A special place to stay, that completed perfectly our journey in Sri Lanka. A place to disconnect from the hectic world, a place to recharge, a place to rediscover yourself, a place to embrace the balance of life. Impeccable taste in furniture and decorations, excellent service, gourmet cuisine … and most important, lady Verena – the host from whom you cannot ask for more: always attentive, offering advice for visiting, happy to help in any ways, very knowledgeable and a true classy lady. We felt pampered and even more: felt somehow at home, at home with ourselves and at home with the people from Villa Shanthi. A perfect accommodation for body and soul, for all ages.

One of the best places in the Hikkaduwa area I have stayed with my family. This beautiful Villa is brand new and although it has no stars I would say it is a minimum of 4 worth and can beat other hotels in the region easily. If you want to relax and enjoy your holidays, this is the perfect location.

Great place to spend the day with friends. We rented out the whole villa with private pool. Very peaceful and ideal for meditation which reflects in the name (Shanthi). Clean and cozy rooms, walking distance to the beach & BBQ facility.

I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for quality villa in Hikkaduwa.

Villa Shanthi is so beautiful that we extended our stay. We booked the entire Villa including pool for ourselves for the weekend. The rooms are similar to a 4star property, brand new and super clean. The perfect location to relax body and mind and Doctor Verena offers Yoga & Meditation classes on request. I think this Villa is really a gem in Hikkaduwa and I can only recommend it. Thank you Villa Shanthi for a awesome stay and see you very soon. :)

One of the best hotels I've ever been to, anywhere. It was peaceful, beautiful, the ambience was perfect for a quiet relaxing vacation. It feels isolated yet connected at the same time. The owner is a yoga teacher so everything there revolves around a healthy and calming experience. For example they had homemade jam and the pool had less chlorine but was cleaned every single morning. Stuff like this is hard to come by. Go there before it gets more recognized. Definitely worth the experience. And shout out to all the people who served us while we were there. Nicest, friendliest people ever.
