Sweden Inn Guesthouse in Hikkaduwa

We had a lovely experience staying in Sweden inn, the room was clean spacious and comfortable. The host was lovely and the location is great highly recommend!

This is a very lovely guesthouse very close to the beach. The room was very spacious, comfortable and very clean. There was warm water in the shower, a fridge and even a safe for your values. We enjoyed nice conversations with the very lovely host. After we asked her she served us a super-delicious srilankan breakfast in the morning! We can definitely recommend this accommodation and looking forward to come back to here again!

Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka. A lot of hosts have been welcoming but Chandane truly went above and beyond to make us feel part of the family. She constantly put us at ease and provided help whenever we needed it and was always there to greet us with a smile and a conversation whenever we returned to the guest house. The room was heavenly, the shower was hot and the lovely comfortable four poster bed had a mosquito net, A/C + a fan. We got terribly soaked on a rainy drive home and Chandane even hung our clothes on her own washing line to get them dry for our next day departure, and found us a bus to our next destination, making sure she waited with us and flagged it down. So kind. Her son also arranged a scooter for us for the best price we've had in Sri Lanka so far! We will definitely be booking again if we return to Hikkaduwa!

Amazing place to stay. Felt really clean, welcoming and location was perfect. Sad we only stayed for 1 night, would have loved to stay longer. The train is nearby but it was not noisy at all. The hosts were also very friendly and helpful! Thank you

The best stay in Sri Lanka! It was such a pleasure to meet this lovley family. I felt very comfortable. It feels like to be a part of a family and not to be a guest. They looked so good to me when i was sick. The plan was to stay 6 nights but at the end i could not leave this great place yet and so i was 9 nights here. I slept in the budget and in the double room, both rooms offer a large space and a pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely come back. Thank you very much to have made my stay in Hikkaduwa unforgettable.

Amazing guest house, in a perfect location, right on the surfing beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a nice balcony. Definitely one of the best places in Hikkaduwa. I highly recommend ....

We stayed at the Sweden inn guesthouse for a week whilst visiting hikkaduwa! It’s owned by a lovely welcoming family who are very accommodating! The rooms were amazing for the price! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone to stay here!

The guesthouse is kept by a wonderful family. I took the big room and was very satisfied. Everything is in good condition, everything works, there are no bad odors, everything is clean and neat. There is no noise in the area, except for the railroad, but the trains run very rarely and it does not bring discomfort. Overall I recommend this guesthouse, and definitely room number 8 I will ill definitely come back again!

We had a great stay here! Quiet and spacious room with mosquito net. Bathroom with hot water! Friendly hosts. And nearby the surf spots. All in all, highly recommended 🙌

This was my family's 6th time staying at Sweden Inn Guesthouse. We absolutely love staying there. Chandani and her family (the owners) are the most sweet and caring family and always take amazing care of us. Everything is very comfortable and spotlessly clean and they will help you with anything at all that you need. We couldn't recommend it more.
