Single Tree Hotel in Nuwara Eliya

This is a very recommendable stay in Nuwara Eliya based on the perfect location equally strategic for nice walks to the lake area, the Singletree mountain and the Viewpoint. The hotel is well equipped, with a heater possible if the nights are cold. The bed is of a good quality and the bathroom is also comfortable, with nice hot water. There is enough storage place in the room, and there is a sitting area on the floor. I had a good Wifi. A nice breakfast was included, in a good atmosphere with kind people around you. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. There is good communication possible. I’ve had the best guide on earth for my Horton Plains tour, which is very much recommended to visit from here. The place is a treasure, as the guide, Roger is. Overall, I had the best time here, and would return any time.

I stayed in the hotel for 2 days with my 2 young daughters . We really enjoyed our stay. The staffs working in the hotel were friendly and approachable and attentive. All our needs were attended immediately . They cooked food fresh and cook according to your request . The food was fresh and delicious .

The location is nice. Beautiful landscape and view from window. The staff of the hotel is very polite and wonderful specially the person named malle.

The room was fairly clean, and the service was good. When my child accidentally bumped their head, the staff promptly offered assistance.

Very clean rooms and comfortable mattress. The wood decoration looke good and suitable for the cold weather in this city. The service was outstanding as we got our bags kept in the rooms and had a amazing lemon ginger tea pot. This is a local own hotel by a nice Sri Lankan couple who took care of us and other guests too. It's around 28 minutes walking to the centre or 5 minutes by Tuk Tuk which is not too bad. I would recommend this place for families, couples and quite individual who wants peace and love 💕. The price was very affordable comparing to the other hotels in the same area. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Single Tree Hotel arranged 2 trips for us, to The Bluefield tea factory (with Ramboda falls) and to Horton Plains. Both trips ran smoothly and our driver/guide, Ashanka, was a fantastic - knowledgeable, helpful, polite etc. The prices were also very reasonable considering it included transport and the services of a local guide.
