This is not a hotel. The room is small and cramped, no soap in the shower, and it smells damp and musty. The photos online do not represent what you actually get when you arrive. Considering the price, this was far more expensive than what you would pay for a good hotel on the mainland. The breakfast was good, but there was a significant lack of space given the number of guests. It should also be mentioned that you have to pay a parking fee inside the premises."

Nice place to relax. Comfortable rooms and good breakfast. Dog friendly and large grounds to walk. There is a beach area opposite the road.

I stayed in one of the double rooms ("close to the sea") and I really liked it. It's small and cute, and the bed was really comfortable. The room had linens and towels, also bathrobes and a hair dryer, but not body wash and shampoo. There are no USB wall outlets, which I was kind of expecting. The beach is very close and nice. It's a great location with a lot of nature reserves and trails nearby, which is exactly what I wanted.

The room and board were very clean and we loved the breakfast buffets. The room in the summer was a bit stuffy and could have done with a small fan. Overall it was a great place and we highly recommend.

We happened to book this place by chance on a 4-room cabin. The local is peaceful, beautiful, picturistic, and fresh air. Though it is little bit far from city and grocery stores and bus stop, it is manageable.
The rooms are clean. It is better to bring own carpets/mats if you want to cook frequently.
Quite big open spaces for children for sports and walking. Furthermore , facilities such as Sauna, common washing machines, grilling areas, etc. keep us welcoming.
If we are going to Visby again, we might be staying at same place.

The cottage itself was charming, warm, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for anyone seeking peace, nature, and a break from the noise of daily life. Whether enjoying a morning coffee with an ocean view or an evening walk along the coast, everything felt just right.

Its location couldn’t be better—close enough to enjoy the sea anytime, yet private enough to truly relax. This stay was a perfect escape, and I would happily return again. Highly recommended for nature lovers and anyone in need of a soulful retreat.

I forgot to write my review earlier when I stayed there in May 2024. It’s a beautiful location, I stayed in a cabin with an uninterrupted view of the sea. I walked everyday into Visby along the footpath on the coast, it was gorgeous. The room was clean and staff super friendly and professional. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone, as the rooms are clean, great staff, and great rates.

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was very nice and food was excellent. Breakfast was superb.
Staff was also pro active with some extremely noisy guests, making sure they would quiet down by 10pm. That was very much appreciated since we had to leave the window open due to hot weather.
