Very bad experience with Balder / the housing provider.
They will try to cheat you on every occasion with their partner companies. E.g. their bank was charging them for received transactions. To compensate for those 15 SEK per transaction, instead of fixing their problem, they just involved their partner debt collection company to charge those 15 SEK + high debt collection fees towards their tenants. This was happening to everyone sending the payments from other then their bank. It's the most shameful behaviour I experienced on the housing market. btw. I lived in 17 countries, so well done Balder!

Bedrom with kitchen and bathroom . Situated a couple of km outside the citywall. The appartement had what was needed. Parking outside was quite expensive but we always found free parking in the side streets.. We had no problem to find the Place but when we arrived we had problems to find somebody who could give us the key. We arrived in the afternoon but the reception was closed for the day. We tried to phone several numbers. After a while we got to talk to somebody in a rental office we beleived managed several places. But they could not help us. After walking around the place we by chance met the cleaning staff who was able to help us. We were there a couple of hours and was lucky to meet somebody who could help.

Very poor service. we stayed at this hotel apartment 4 nights, upon our arival we noticed that the bathroom lights isn’t working, we reporter it directly and the guy in the receptionen said they will fix it. After 4 nights we left and they still didnt send anyone to fix it so we used the bathroom in darkness. The walls of the room was quite dirty, but the sheets were clean. If you are looking for an affordable place near the visby old town its ok place but if you have expectations of a hotel book somewhere else.

I booked accommodation for arriving the 2nd July 2020 and departing 6th July 2020. As I am unable to leave my country and unable to enter Sweden due to Covid-19 I am penalised. I booked 4 nights accomodation from the 2nd - 6th July, 2020 and had to cancel as due to Covid-19 I was unable to travel. The policy us that if you change or cancel the booking you will not get a refund. I wonder if I had not cancelled my booking and just not turned up as I could not get into the country would I have received a refund?. This is totally unfair - I cancelled the booking early enough due to Covid-19 so that other people who were able to travel to Sweden could stay there - this is not fair. A full refund should be forthcoming under the circumstances. I know if I am able to travel there next year i will definitely not be staying there - this no refund policy in this situation is just money grabbing
