Need a place to stay for a night due to the terrible roads (very slippery). The staff at the front desk is always available and welcoming. The room is not big but very cozy with a comfortable temperature. The breakfast is also good with a variety of options.

Great straff, excellent brakefast and clean and Nice rooms

All staff were very nice and the room was excellent. I also appreciate a nice gesture from them as I cleared my debts before leaving. I will be happy to return to this hotel in the future since it also was very nice and at a short distance to everything I would go. The breakfast was very fresh and staff there was also on their feet.

Central location Hotel location is perfect in the central parts of Visby. The breakfast capacity was very poor. It was hard to find seats even if we only were two persons

Nice hotel in this price category. Excellent front office, good breakfast, clean, straight forward rooms. The shower in a small elevated bathtub is not my favorite solution but again for what it is it definitely works.

The hotel is conveniently located in the old town; aside from needing a taxi to and from the airport, most other areas are within walking distance. The hotel is about 1.5 k from the ferry. Book a taxi ahead of arrival, otherwise you'll have to complete the 'refugee walk' along coble stone streets. The hotel is a bit of a labarynth spread between 2 buildings. My room did not have elevator access. I had to traverse 2 spiral stair cases with all of our luggage to get to the room. The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent.

Great location in a safe area for tourists. All amenities are close by, with great dining options a short walking distance from the hotel.

Good hotel in good location Stayed in a family room which distinctly smaller than the photos on booking site. Stayed in July when the room was very hot - no a/c. Decent condition of the room. I’d come back for sure! Friendly and welcoming staff, great location and some rooms have ocean views. I was lucky to get such a room, a nice single with a cozy atmosphere too. Very close to elevator and staircase and no soundproof doors. All in all I would stay again.

The service of hotel is very good, the staff are very friendly and enthusiastic, and the breakfast at the hotel is also delicious. Furthermore, the hotel room was very comfortable to stay in, with good scenery and close proximity to the bench.

I forgot to write my review earlier when I stayed there in May 2024. It’s a beautiful location, I stayed in a cabin with an uninterrupted view of the sea. I walked everyday into Visby along the footpath on the coast, it was gorgeous. The room was clean and staff super friendly and professional. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone, as the rooms are clean, great staff, and great rates.

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was very nice and food was excellent. Breakfast was superb. Staff was also pro active with some extremely noisy guests, making sure they would quiet down by 10pm. That was very much appreciated since we had to leave the window open due to hot weather.

My stay was wonderful! The room was clean and cosy. I also had the best view! The stuff was very polite and helpful with all matters. The breakfast is amazing! So much choices! I can only recommend this hotel!

Stayed for a long weekend, 2 adults and 2 kids. Can’t find anything to complain about, it was a great experience and the breakfast buffet was perfect for everyone. We had a pretty and clean ocean view room with an amazing terrace. The location is close enough for a nice stroll to the old town and harbor area. Would stay again and can highly recommend it.

Have stayed here several times off season and found it excellent. For about the same price as a hotel you get a decent size apartment with access to a pool and gym. Breakfast was excellent.

This resort is stunning. We stayed in an ocean view bungalow and could not fault it - it has a double bedroom and 2 bunkbeds in a separate room with a shared large bathroom. Basic family hotel with outdoor pool. We had a good size apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Considering the high price the breakfast is quite poor by Swedish standards. Cheap cuts of meat, no fish, no salad, poor choice of breads. Parked here for one night and tried to work out the parking system which didn’t work as I got a 600 SEK fine next morning. Very good. I stayed here during May and found it really very good. Room was of a high standard with the bed being particularly comfortable. Even though the season hadn’t really got going, you could use the outdoor heated pool. Breakfast fine and staff pleasant; the two Indian guys being particularly helpful and pleasant. I would happily stay again.

Breakfast was the only thing which we likes about the hotel. Rest all was down the drain. Family rooms were on a separate facility. They were on the 4th floor with no lift. So imagine carrying all that bags and kids to the 4th floor! Will never go back here. Was forced to book this as the clarion besides was fully booked!

I won't say it is a four stars hotel because of the cleaness. I got disapointed when I saw the room. Not so fresh. But to be honset the bathroom is good. It is big and clean. Although the staff are really nice. The breakfast is included also, it is so good actually.

This is a typically wonderful Scandic hotel with excellent service, great beds, and decadent breakfasts and is right across the road from the Central Train Station. It also has a good, though oddly painted dark, gym. The outside is safe but a lot of smokers and drunks hang out there.

The location, staff, breakfast, and room were great and I was able to rent a bike to ride easily up and down the coast.

Note this is not a hotel but rather holiday apartments on a managed site. Receptionist was available all day until 8pm. Our family of 4 stayed for a week late August 25. We really enjoyed our stay, found the place peaceful and with friendly neighbours. Outdoor pool was an added bonus as not much like this available in Visby. Unsure if the pool is heated or if we were just really lucky with nice warm...

Great place for families with younger children in particular, but also works well for couples. Pool area was great during the hot days.

Convenient and comfortable. easy walk to town very good facilities, even a bit of wildlife right outside your front door. a little utilitarian and not charming but fantastic for the price.

From the customer service on a fantastic level of helpfulness to our arrival it was super. The overall level of the apartments was of the highest standard. It was definitely the best-equipped apartment hotel I have visited. The kitchen had everything you could need. The staff were so helpful from anything to the room to finding something in town.

Very warm welcome upon arrival, the reception lady introduced us the city, spots for sunset and some restaurant recommendations. what makes this experience even better is that she offered us some free vouchers for the ferry’s breakfast when she acknowledged that we can’t make it to breakfast included for the next day. It was great to explore the ruins so near by along with the botanical garden. The staff was so nice, Margta was so helpful with parking, maps and places to go see around the island. We stayed in the basement room with the sauna and it was a fun experience with relaxing at the end of our tour days. Room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed.

This is a beautiful building set among the historic walled city. Breakfast is delicious with lots of home baked produce. The hosts are lovely and the garden where breakfast and afternoon tea are served is quiet but extremely convenient for the old town

Very spacious apartment in city center We stayed in the annex apartment with 3 bedrooms and a huge living room. Only one shower though. Right on the center shopping street with restaurants so can be noisy with people and cars. You must take stairs to the first level. Breakfast is in the main building down the street.

The annexe where we stayed was beautifully clean and comfortable. Older patrons or people with mobility issues need to be aware that there are three flights of stairs to be climbed (with luggage) in order to get to some of the annexe rooms.

9 We had a really pleasant stay. The hostel was located right next to a central shopping and restaurant area which was very convenient. The place had a peaceful courtyard which also allowed us to store our bicycles safely inside locked fences and right in front of out room. The only minus was that they did not reply on our request for an earlier check-in.

Estonian islands visited shortly across the Baltic Sea neighbor Gotland. Hotel Gute provided our group of 7 a perfect place to stay in the heart of Visby, mingle together in hotel's restaurant and enjoy spacious rooms. Great value for a reasonable cost.

It looked nice, but… The room was a surprise. On the corner, street level. Need to keep the shades closed or everybody passing looked you in the face, lying on your (very good) bed. So you could not open the bigger windows, only small ones higher, and it was warm. Biggest problem: a huge bath with no grips to hold and… no separate shower. Not very handy for older people. Excellent and spacious rooms, plus a bit of "Victorian" style in the decoration that really changes from the regular hotels. The breakfast is rich and diversified. We also got an excellent rate (we went in December), really a hotel I would return without exhitation.
