We spent a wonderful weekend at this hotel with the simple goal of relaxing and recharging, and it truly delivered. The location is incredibly cozy and beautifully curated in every detail, creating the perfect atmosphere to unwind. The management team was impeccable — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. A special mention to the restaurant, which was superb, with outstanding food and flawless service. A perfect place for a relaxing and regenerating escape. We will definitely come back.

We’ve just discovered a new favorite in Guarda Val. The breathtaking views, stunning nature, and beautifully designed rooms were only surpassed by the warmth and friendliness of the staff. The cozy atmosphere made it feel instantly like home, and we left already planning our return. We’ve been telling friends about it—and their response was unanimous: ‘So jealous!’

This is the best place in Switzerland all over.All rooms are diffrent - Staff is exeptional friendly and the food is so good

We had to cancel because my husband fractured his neck and was hospitalized in Geneva. This hotel had plenty of advance notice of the cancellation but insisted on charging full price. The manager was arrogant and unreasonable. They refused to even offer a partial credit for possible future use.

Maiensaess was over the top I was expecting. Hotel facilities was beautiful. Restaurants especially the 6- and 3- course dinner was exquisite. Was fantastic and memorable. Service staff was very professional and friendly. Spa service was wonderful with the massage and the soak bath I enjoyed so much. We stayed for 3 nights and wish we could stay longer. There isn't enough words to describe this magical place. It's a must to visit.

This place was one of the most - if not the MOST - incredible places I've stayed in the whole world. Everything was exceptional. The way it was like a little village, the staff, the room, the various amazing baths, the spa, the buffet breakfast, the coffee/cake buffet every day, the activities that were organised, the free shuttle to the slopes... just perfect.
