Valsana Hotel

Excellent new hotel in Arosa. Attentive, friendly staff, beautiful location, first class spa, beautiful and spacious rooms/apartments, varied and healthy cuisine. Well-being and relaxation factor 100.

Nice, spacious and clean rooms - exactly what we needed. Friendly staff. Very good food. Wine may be a little cheaper at home - we compared the price of our wine in a restaurant with a message in a bottle - message in a bottle CHF 25.90 - in your restaurant CHF 74.00. We think pretty highly. Otherwise everything was fine.

The stay at their hotel was very pleasant. We did not fully understand the strict rules regarding two meals a day. The hotel, of course, was not fully booked and, especially at breakfast, there were few people and the tables were far apart. During the holidays I want to be more independent.

We're a couple, part of a large and diverse group, and we spent a week at the Valsana Hotel & Appartements Arosa in the middle of August 2021.

Bottom line: we had a great experience at the Valsana Hotel & Appartements Arosa. We came for the location and facilities, we will come back for the service.

Hotel location is great, just by the Obersee with a large COOP supermarket on the ground floor which makes it very convenient.

The room: We had Premium double room facing south, with a balcony facing the mountains. The room was always very clean, really big, with all the required amenities. Shower is clean and big. Very good room.
I think this is smallest room the hotel has to offer, I can only imagine it's gets even better and more comfortable with larger rooms.

Hotel facilities:
I used the pool, gym, hotel parking, tennis court. Except the pool being to small for a swim(it's like 4-5 strokes form side to side), all is good.
WIFI is great throughout the hotel.

Breakfast:
I'm an early bird, a morning person and a breakfast person. Breakfast buffet was really good, with nice selection of meats, cheese, fruits, vegetables, breads and pastries, fresh every day. Eggs and coffee are made to order. Some of the groups had some different issues with gluten and all had really good and fresh options.

Hotel staff and service:
While the hotel facilities are great, the staff and the service is amazing. The hard working staff which is led by hotel manager Claudio always did their best to satisfy all our requests and needs (special or not so special).

I think that the staff and the great service it provides is what's makes this hotel really special. This is the crown jewel of this hotel.

I can't wait coming back to Valsana Hotel & Appartements Arosa.

One of the amazing hotel in Arosa

I enjoyed staying at Valsana. The room were nice comfortable, spa was amazing. I just felt two things. 1) The light in the room was too less and like dim. 2) There was no warm vegetarian dish in breakfast (We don't eat eggs or fish). We asked for baked beans or rosti or hash brown patatoes and they refused so for us it was just cold breakfast. Rest all was perfect.

Very kind and professional staff. Good breakfast and restaurant; vegan menu is excellent. More vegan options for breakfast would be great though. Spacious and comfortable rooms with complimentary minibar. Fitness and spa areas are large, clean, and well-thought. Complimentary activities 6 days a week, such as yoga, fitness, biking or other outdoor activities. Hotel located just next to the Arosa lake, 5-min walk from the train/bus station and lifts. Highly recommended for a sporty and healthy detox.

Enjoyed out stay in the Valsana before the big reworking of the whole hotel complex. The hotel is centrally located with sweeping panoramic views of the mountains and is full of history, the sports hotel dates back to 1900!
