My recent 3-night stay was a textbook example of how a beautiful property can be completely let down by catastrophic service failures.

1. The Booking Fiasco: Upon check-in, the receptionist found me a room for my entire stay but requested that I move to a different room after the first night. When the time came, there was no room available. Their explanation? A simple "sorry, it was a misunderstanding." No solution, no effort to make things right—just an apology for their own incompetence.

2. The Payment Nightmare (The Worst Part): I paid for 2 of my 3 nights in CASH upon arrival. Despite this, during check-out, I was aggressively demanded to pay for the second night AGAIN. The staff was unbending, even bringing over another employee who "confirmed" the debt, even though she wasn't the one who had checked me in. With staff changing every 30 minutes, it was chaos. I was in shock, having to argue that I shouldn't have to pay twice for the same service. I had to suggest they review the security cameras or records to prove my case. Only after consulting with an administrator did they realize their mistake.

And the compensation for this immense stress and embarrassment? A plain "sorry." Not a heartfelt apology, not a complimentary drink, nothing. This shows a complete lack of understanding of basic customer service principles.

The hotel is physically well-made, but the staff is utterly unprepared for client service. You cannot rely on their word or their payment system. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone until they invest not just in materials, but in proper staff training and procedures.
