Hotel Villette City Center - Bellevue

Terrible. Stay away!

These guys canceled my booking over email (I booked through HRS) and informed me an hour before i arrived. It was 10pm at night and i was stranded in the middle of Zurich with no hotel. Previously i got confirmation that room is booked. Reason for canceling: credit card payment didn't go through. Guys, please just call me, i have another card and can pay with debit card. You can check card details on phone. I was available all the time.

Guys, you just don't cancel room an hour before and inform a person over email! I should add that HRS booking website is responsible as well, they confirmed the booking without actually knowing if hotel if booked! See the confirmation screenshot in attachment.

I didn't like to stay at this hotel. It was extremely expensive for the service I received. There are not showers inside the room. All the hotel smells to both cigarettes and marijuana. Also, they charged me twice, so I have to spend additional money. If I were you, I would recommend to find another option.

They cancelled on me 45 minutes before check-in. And then they offer a room at twice the price! Unacceptable. Never again.

Its good with cooperative staff, but very very expensive as compare to other 3 stars, rooms are nice and clean but less fecialted, no room slippers, no, hair dryer, no sanitary kit, for shower need to go upstairs on other floor.
In morning about 07:25am there where nobody at reception to whom i asked for checkout, even I pressed the bell many times and also did the fone call but no one come to respond me. I put the room key at reception table and left hotel to catch my flight.
Honestly speaking I will not recommend this hotel to my any friend.

Avoid this hotel if you can. This is the most expensive and the poorest quality and no services hotel where I have ever stayed.
Hotel locates in a very lovely area of Bellevue and it could be a wonderful little hotel with character and charm.
However the guest room is dirty, there are bed bugs, very small bed, a not working TV, noisy, the toilet is very small and dirty. The breakfast tables are sticky and dirty, do not bother.
Very poorly managed hotel.
Avoid this hotel, do not waste your money and an unpleasant experience. Get a room somewhere else, the public transport in Zurich is very good and not expensive, and you can go to downtown with ease if you cannot find a hotel room in the city Centre.
