The bathroom was awful. The shower had inconsistent water pressure and the temperature kept fluctuating between hot and cold. The sink wouldn't drain, and the wet/dry separation was poorly designed with no proper drainage.

Taking tram 3 from Zurich main station, the hotel is a straightforward 8-10 minute walk from the stop, so the location is great and not hard to find. The hotel room was very clean and well-equipped. Large room, great view and nice location. There is a supermarket near the hotel, just 3 mins away on feet. The bar in front of the reception is nice too. Big enough and comfortable. Friendly service, generous extra check-out time, good breakfast. Room is OK, with good work desk and chair and coffee and mini bar selection. Strangely soft pillow not how I like it. As usual in too many hotels, there was no walk-in shower and one had to shower standing in the bad tube, and as too usual, the shower head could not be fixed in a proper position, but kept sliding down.

I would have given this hotel 5 stars except it is not on the Lake but a main street is in front. I had ordered a room with a lake view with a terrace thinking that there was no street. However, it was quiet at night but I am sure during the summer it probably will be noisy. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. The staff is very nice and accommodating. I had a very pleasant stay at the B2 hotel. Every staff member was very pleasant and welcoming, my room was very comfortable, clean and I had good quality sleep. The hotel has an interesting identity as a previous brewery and the restaurant and breakfast room (the library) is amazing. The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. The spa is also extraordinary, in particular the roman spa.

We had a three night stay in Zurich before traveling on to Lake Como for a wedding. Chose the B-2 for the spa experience. That was wonderful but so was the entire stay. Paying HKD 18,000 for a 'deluxe' suite that didn't even include breakfast was already a shock. What's worse, the amenities were incredibly mediocre, barely reaching a three or four-star standard. I was thoroughly disappointed 🤦‍♀️. I have no idea how this place ended up at the top of Zurich's luxury hotel rankings – it's completely misleading.
