Overall when I booked the hotel rooms I was not quite sure about how big it was. But we are really satisfied with the room. I went with my family and had everything well prepared for us. Good hospitality and cleanliness. I liked the environment and friendly welcome from the reception.

It is good place to get a drink where it is near the church.

While the hotel is fine by itself, we got a room on the side of the church - because of the loud bell ringing which stopped at midnight and resumed at 7 am we didnt get a good night rest unfortunately. Soundproof windows should be a minimum investment in this case.

The place is located close to local train station. It is not very conspicuous and if not vigilant, you may miss the sign board,. There are a large number of shops nearby where you can buy food. The lift is small and accommodates 3-4 persons. The rooms are clean, provided with mineral water and WiFi. The plus point is good connectivity.

Clear, cheap, free parking. I stayed 3 day. I walked 4 min to train station and train can arrive to town centre main station within 10 min. I parked outside the hotel for whole day and free of charge. Furthermore, hotel provide hot water boiler. Internet speed is good ~my wife using for see movies by phone.

Located in a very residential neighborhood, this was a very clean functional though tired hotel near Zurich. Yes the rooms had seen better days but the reasonable prices very well made up for it. Solid value stay for a night.

Nice, small, cozy and silent hotel in the heart of city. Good food in restaurant. But beds are hard and pillows are so small that sleeping was uncomfortable. Ask for extra pillows right during check-in.

A postage sized room for me, but below average cost for Zurich. Room has all the amenities and my mattress was firm and not lumpy. Breakfast is sufficiently filling and satisfying. Near many restaurants and bars.

Really enjoyed to stayed in that hotel. We booked family room that fit 4 people. It is spaciouse and never had crowded feeling. Rooms, beds, shower was clean. They have good espresso coffee mashine that was very nice additional thing. Stuff were great and very helpful!!

The room looked a bit old, but the place served great for my business trip. Located right at Milchbuck I had great connections to both the train station and the airport, and I could easily get to both ETH and the University of Zurich. Great selection for breakfast. I only missed some in-room bar. Nevertheless, the personnel was very friendly, and I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Convenient location, super clean, friendly staff. Take the 14 Tram right across the street. After a 20hr trip, check-in was very welcoming and informative. The room was small but didn't feel confining. As everyone mentions, the pizza place next door is worth a try. Breakfast is continental with a nice mix of offerings. Rooms are tiny, but clean. There are fridges that can be used for own food, but no tea kettle. The desks barely fit a laptop. The service is super friendly, they gave me an electrical outlet adapter at no charge.

The room is very small and only accommodates one bed. There is no room for one person in it, and the price/performance ratio is not high. The parking lot is far away, and every time you enter and exit, you have to ask someone to open the door

Great hotel, even though there are no staff. It is situated next to rails, but the noise supression is awesome and you can't hear them when windows closed:) Great location, easy travelling to all city directions and sides. Decent hotel with a cheery and helpful front desk. Tram stops and cafes close by. Family room a good size. Toilet light didn’t work and couldn’t be fixed right away + you have to run the hot water for a while for it to come.

One of the best boutique hotels we have ever stayed at. Beautiful interior and decor, the rooms overlooking the city are outstanding, comfortable mattresses but most importantly they have wonderful people working there. The staff made our stay unforgettable and excellent. We will always speak highly about this hotel and will recommend to everyone visiting Zurich.

Lovely experience at Sunnehus. The family room was just the right size for the four of us. If with heavy luggage, reaching the place is best done via the TRAM of coming from the train station. Get down at ETH and the hotel is barely 100 metres away. With a backpack or a light suitcase, you may walk up the steps to the hotel. Zurich Old town and shopping plazas are a walking distance from here.

Looking at the hotel position, it's really high... If you have too many bags a tram might be better to go there... even though its not too closer from the hotel... Bathroom is medium... and really short, besides the shower sending water to all places. Other than that I think all rest is good. A suggestion to the hostel is to make it more clear their position in relation to the hbf station... 0.6km...

Location is perfect, personnel performs it's duties at the best manner possible (politeness, appearance, helpfulness etc. - everything was flawless during my stay). 3 stars are well deserved by this hotel, providing everything I would need staying in Zurich - a pool or a Michelin restaurant room service are nothing to have a use in this beautiful city, where you will do better just walking around.

We had a great 2 nights at the Altstadt. The location is perfect - right in the heart of the old town and just meters away from the river. It is so easy to get around - you can walk from the train station to the hotel in less than 15 minutes, or there is a tram stop at the end of the street. The shower was wonderful, the service was excellent and the room was okay - with the exception of the pillows on the bed. They were the opposite of "firm". Like large handkerchiefs. That actually made it difficult to sleep, and it is the reason why I would not stay there again.

We stayed for one night. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. And helpful. Clean. Great breakfast buffet!. Room was small but we were out and about so much it didnt really matter. Location was amazing especially if you don’t have a lot of time. We’d definitely return!

The hotel's rooms are relatively small. For parking, the hotel has a cooperative parking space, which costs 36 euros a day. You can pay at the hotel front desk. Relatively safe and convenient. In addition, the location is relatively good. You can walk to the river in 2 minutes and Hof Mountain in 7 minutes.

Excellent location, good size room

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It's so close to the main station and you can get wherever you want so easily from this hotel. Staff are friendly and nice. It's clean. The only negative point is that you will hear noises from rooms beside you and the walls are not soundproof.

Location is so good. Breakfast is served another restaurant where is located across the street. For me, it was difficult to understand "this is right place". There are not many kinds of food, in my opinion.

It is a nice and small hotel without a reception. Tram stations are nearby and deliver one directly to the center districts as well as to the airport. Breakfast is delivered to the hotel room in the morning. The rooms are clean, have a coffee machine for capsules and tea. The Hotline works fast and reliable in case of issues. The next time at Zürich I will consider staying here again.

Location is good but road work made us a bit hard o get to hotel as road close or blocked so find way to walk there. A great choice for an overnight stay in Zurich! Just one tram stop from Zurich main station. The hotel offers complimentary still or sparkling water in the lobby, and a kettle is available for hot water.
