This hotel was once stayed in by Touma, making it a pilgrimage site for "White Album" fans. The room was very clean, and the breakfast was a traditional European spread, though not with many options. The hotel's location is excellent, with beautiful scenery all around.

The room was quite small, only enough space to open one suitcase. They made the most of the limited space, but it was really just a place to crash for one night. The breakfast was pretty good, with a good variety of options. In the lobby, you could get unlimited hot water and coffee. The hotel is also quite close to Zurich Central Station.

A very basic room with limited amenities of only bath towel, body soap and shampoo provided. No tea and coffee or bottle water in the room but there is a coffee and tea station at the reception area where you can also top up drinking water. I had a great experience. There was only one issue with the cleaning people leaving the window open and when I came into the room it was freezing. The heat is controlled by the hotel and not the guest. The luggage storage was great. You have to pay for it using bounce. It was a great experience I had at this hotel. No complaints.

This is an excellent hotel! The front desk staff were very enthusiastic, the room was spacious and clean, and the Wi-Fi was fast. It had heating, a very comfortable bed, and convenient transportation. You can take bus 31 right outside the door to any Zurich landmark. Highly recommended!

Excellent hotel, location close to station within walking distance

The Sternen Oerlikon is a hidden gem. The entire staff is warm and helpful, from the front desk, to the housekeeper to the breakfast waitress. The hotel is quiet and spotless and a less than 10 minute walk to the Orelikon HB.

Very warm welcome (especially considering it is a city hotel), the staff all very friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. The location is really well connected. I travel quite a lot and generally most hotels don't stand out - this one did - I would stay again next time I am in Zurich.

I booked a single room, but everyone should avoid room 211. The window faces a huge street lamp, and the curtains don't block any light at all, so the room was bright all night long. For anyone who needs darkness to sleep, this is an absolute disaster.
