The hotel is nothing like the pictures. The beds have insects and bathrooms have ants. They have a club in the hotel making their rooms very noisy. Unlike what is in their amenities they have no parking. You'll have to park by the road side. They also don't offer free breakfast for all rooms. They have very horrible customer service. The receptionist couldn't even lend us a spoon claiming they had none yet they have a restaurant. When paying in Tanzanian shillings they ask you to pay more than what is in their listing. The rooms are very noisy in the morning. They also refused to give a refund despite paying for 2nights and spending 1 night there

The one stars I gave are really generous. Once you go there, they give a different price than what is on booking.com. I felt robbed tbh.
The staff is really rude. They refused to warm food for us and give us spoons.
We asked for a refund for the second day we had paid for but they gave excuses. Please don’t go here

Great budget option close to outfitters and guides. Hot showers and good breakfast. The staff are super helpful and will keep your bags safe for you while you trek or tour. I left in such a hurry to make a bus back to Nairobi and they were so helpful in arranging an affordable taxi for me and helping me get logistics figured out

Motel Silva offered a private clean room and friendly staff for an affordable price. We enjoyed the rooftop and many stores around!

Overall this motel is great, good rooms, good pricing from Tsh 20k-30k. I recommend for those who want cheap good rooms to stay, it also has a balcony on each top floor room where u can stay watch a beautiful view of the city

Located in the heart of Moshi town. Easy to get around on foot to different attractions and restaurants. The downside is that it is on the busy market street with all different kinds of noises all the time of the day and night . Other thing the wifi neve worked the 2 days I was there
