We stayed here for two nights recently at the end of a safari holiday. Our flight home was changed and we had two extra unexpected nights in Tanzania. We found the Springlands Hotel fine. The pool area was good and they had comfortable sun beds. Our room was fine but my son’s room next door was a bit dark and dingy. We had full board there and found the food to be good. It is clear that efforts have been made to provide food to suit people from different parts of the world. We were there in the low season when the hotel was quiet. The strength of this hotel is the staff. They are all very friendly, helpful and obliging. In particular, I would like to mention Benjamin who is a real asset. The layout of the garden is very pleasant with several different seating areas spread about. This place is an oasis of calm in a busy African town. It also has a secure gated entrance. This hotel is, I understand, associated with a local Children’s Charity.

Our US travel agency booked us here. We stayed two nights because we wanted to do a day hike before starting our safari. The hotel is affiliated with ZARA Safari Tours, so their groups were coming and going. ZARA provided us with a very professional guide and driver for our day hike. There is a pool, but this is not a resort. It is just a place to prepare for a climb, or to relax and celebrate after one. Most people stay only one night. The rooms are clean, but basic. The bath was large, but a bit dark. There was a light above the sink, but we could not get it to turn on. The maintenance man looked at it – “It’s not broken. It just doesn’t work.” Ok, it’s not the end of the world. The shower was spacious with plenty of hot water, and the towels were large and of good quality. The bed was comfortable and linens were good quality. The hotel is outside of town, in a gated compound. There is no reason to leave the property because there is nothing around. You will take all your meals on property. The food is basic, but very good, and there is plenty of it. The dining area is spacious and well-staffed. The buildings were freshly painted. The grounds are well maintained and attractive, and there a lots of smaller spaces where groups can gather. The bar is staffed with friendly servers. The cost of the food and drinks was reasonable. What we remember the most was how great the people were, especially the staff in the dining room and the bar. They were happy, friendly, and eager to serve.

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic and made our safari trip even more special. As a couple, we really enjoyed relaxing by the pool and using the spa and convenient services like the forex bureau. The food was excellent, the grounds were beautifully maintained, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Everything about our stay felt welcoming and comfortable, making it an ideal base for our safari adventures and a truly memorable experience.

The hotel is closely involved with tours to climb Kilimanjaro and some safaris. The main impression is that it is friendly and efficient. Food is good and gear can be hired. You can store items for safe keeping while climbing. The hotel is out of town and gated. The grounds are attractive. However some of the rooms are a bit basic. Overall if you are here to climb, it will serve its purpose well.

We highly recommend Springlands Hotel! It was the perfect spot before and after our Kilimanjaro trek. The spacious, spotless rooms were so comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic. The hotel has beautiful grounds, making it a peaceful retreat. The pool was a great way to relax after a long day. The professional, friendly staff made everything easy, and the location in Moshi is super convenient. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Tanzania!

Springlands Hotel was the perfect start and end to our Tanzania safari. We stayed two nights before and one after, and every part of our stay was fantastic. The rooms were comfortable, spotless, and well equipped, with cozy beds and great showers. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile. We could safely store safari gear, and anything we forgot was easy to borrow. Breakfast was delicious, the spa wonderfully relaxing, and the on-site forex bureau made things so convenient. The pool was beautiful and perfect for unwinding after a long day.

The hotel was the perfect place to stay before and after our Kilimanjaro climb. The spacious rooms offered comfort, while the food was fresh and delicious. The professional staff went above and beyond, always making sure we had everything we needed. The beautiful, well-maintained facilities, including the garden and pool, added to the relaxing atmosphere. The on-site forex bureau was also a great convenience. It was the ideal spot to unwind, prepare for the climb, and recover afterward, making our Kilimanjaro experience even more memorable.

This is a clean & simple hotel. The staff was friendly. The dining area was spacious. This is where the Breakfast & Dinner Buffets were held.

Definitely not somewhere I would voluntarily stay. We were given 3 singles small beds in a room which were far from comfortable. The breakfast wasn’t the best however the omelette was good.
