My husband and I booked a safari and add-on day trips with Lion King Adventires and they selected the Pink Flamingo for part of our stay when we visited Mt Kilimanjaro. This hotel was amazing! The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were gorgeous! The meal plan was very nice and the staff went out of their way to treat us like royalty during our 2-day stay there.

This was our second time at Pink Flamingo, again they provided exceptional service, attention to detail and amazing food! We were there for New Years Eve and it was very special. The Pink Flamingo provided fireworks, champagne and snacks and we all rang in the New Year around the pool. We would love to go back again. Special shoutout to all the staff, Juanita, Joseph and all the attentive wonderful serving staff by the pool. Everyone really made our once in a lifetime trip even more magical and we cannot thank you enough. The level of communication is superior to any other hotel we have stayed out. If you have a chance to visit Mochi and Mt. Kilimanjaro you must stay here! On our last day we finally were able to see the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro from the pool area and it was worth the wait, she is magnificant.

This stay at Flamingo Hotel was truly a delightful experience! We flew in from Zambala Island, arriving quite late, but the hotel still gave us a very warm welcome. Welcome drinks, assistance with luggage, and a staff member provided a detailed introduction to the facilities in our room.
We booked a triple room, and the room was incredibly spacious, completely exceeding our expectations! The biggest surprise was the private little pool right outside our room!
However, the hotel only provided a sheet, not blankets. We brought sleeping bags for our Kilimanjaro climb, and I noticed that hotels here generally provide only a sheet, just like in Zambala…
That evening, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was excellent, especially their mixed vegetables, which were very fresh and delicious.
The following day's buffet breakfast, while not having a huge variety, was also very tasty.
This is a very unique and exquisite hotel. From the overall layout to every decorative detail, you can see the hotel's attention to detail; it's very stylish, and the environment is exceptionally clean. The experience was fantastic, and we're even thinking that if we come back again, or after descending from Chirimagalo, we'll definitely stay here again!

Wonderful hotel with excellent service. Not a luxury hotel but the warmth and attentiveness of the service is exceptional. Beautiful well tended gardens and always kept clean and tidy. Food was simple but generally good. We have stayed at some fancy places on our visit to Tanzania including the Arusha Coffee Lodge, Gibb’s Farm and Singita Sasakwa but this place was so memorable for its service. It just shows you don’t need the fanciest property to make a great stay.

The Pink Flamingo Hotel is a very special place and one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The design and decor is absolutely beautiful and there are gorgeous spaces where you can relax and enjoy the serenity. My room was spacious and comfortable and everywhere is impeccably clean. The food is freshly prepared and delicious, with very generous portions and great value. Complimentary coffee, cakes and fruit are available throughout the day. The cocktails were the best I had in Tanzania and I also enjoyed a great massage in the beautiful spa. But above all, the staff are delightful and nothing is too much trouble to make your stay perfect. I had a wonderful stay at The Pink Flamingo and I really hope I will be able to return one day.
