It was just a perfect stay for me. The Location, food, serenity and service. I will stay longer next time I visit Zanzibar
We spent a week in late November at Sea Cliff. We were a big group of participants from different countries around easter Africa and Sweden having a week-long workshop. What I really want to highlight with Sea Cliff is the extremely friendly and service minded staff working at Sea Cliff. Wherever you went around the facilities you were met with a smiling face and a friendly approach. Even the new staff...
I really enjoyed my stay at Sea Cliff Resort & Spa—many highlights. Having lunch while overlooking the ocean was amazing. The staff were super warm—especially Steve, the front office manager, who made sure we were comfortable throughout. I also enjoyed the mini golf and ping pong for relaxation in the evening. The turndown service was a nice touch, and the themed dinners were great, with the Indian...
Amazing amazing place from the beautiful scenery to the excellent service !! It runs like a well oiled machine , they pay attention to detail to everything!! Special shout out to Mbarouk, Mbonea , Pianeto , Ritha and Jonny they made the visit extra special
Certainly! Here's an exceptional review for Sea Cliff

We visited Namaste Restaurant as a family and Denis took care of us. He was incredibly kind, patient, and professional throughout our visit. He made sure everything was perfect and checked in on us regularly. Great service like his makes all the difference. Highly recommend!
The food at Namaste was very tasty and the spices were very mild. Dennis' was serving us always wearing an engageous smile and always helpful. Dennis has been professional everyday.
Zanzibar is simply MIND-BLOWING place. When I was making my research about hotels in the island, Paradise Beach Resort definitely called my attention for all its offered benefits and facilities such as the All Inclusive package, daily entertainment shows, different bars and pools to enjoy. I came alone and staying in a nice place where all my necessities are being taking care of is my number one priority...
The hotel is located on a beautiful, sandy beach❤️. The views in the morning are breathtaking, and the ocean is an incredible turquoise. You can walk for miles❤️. The staff is an absolute treasure of this place❤️. Everyone is incredibly friendly, smiling, and helpful. After a few days, the bartenders already knew our favorite drinks. Their hospitality makes you feel special. The meals were delicious...

Was a good and comfortable stay at Maru maru. Convenient location!
This was my third visit to Maru Maru, Zanzibar, and I’m absolutely in love with the place.
The vibe, the aesthetic ambience, my most favourite rooftop view, delicious Indian food, cozy rooms, and above all, the warmth of the entire Maru Maru team make every stay truly special.
A special thanks to Mr. Anand for always making me feel at home. The hospitality is exceptional and leaves you wanting to...
The rooms were spacious, equipped with good ventilation, storage and overall well maintained. The breakfast was amazing with the European continental and Indian Cuisines along with great variety of locally sourced fresh fruits and juices. The hotel staff are very cooperative and friendly. They attended to all our needs at the earliest. The only problem was the lift being not operational for access...
Great location in old Stone Town, but... The hotel website touts 2 reliable elevators. One of their elevators has never been put in service. The only operational elevator goes to the rooftop terrace and restaurant. There are NO elevators going to 3 floors of guest rooms. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. If you have a 4th floor room you would need to walk down 3 flight of stairs and walk...
Very centrally located... beautiful venue and facilities. Staff are very polite and try their best..... possibly increase the amount of waitrons during the Happy Hour on the Pool Deck? The pool deck is very welcoming and relaxing especially after a day out.
The air conditioned rooms and mosquito nets around the beds adds to a very peaceful night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
Maru Maru Hotel is a good choice in Stone Town - central location and easy to explore everything on foot. The staff were warm and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The only downside was the noise, which made the nights a bit loud and restless.

We had a very good experience. Their food is so nice. We were warmly welcomed at the restaurant by Hafidh and he served us very well..
The hotel is great, very welcoming Cleaned and environmentally sound However it is located very far (about 1h30min) from what we call “pinterest” beaches. At the moment we came, the roads were in chaos due to roadworks and repairs. Overall, for those who just want to stay at the hotel, without really wanting to explore the city, it’s a great choice.
Greatest hospitality from the lounge from Suleiman…I’ll sureLu come back
Excellent service, the customer care is so friendly and the food is So delicious.I say Hotel Verde is the place for luxury and enjoyment
I was travelling with a group of 8 and we could not fly out of Zanzibar. The verde hotel was very gracious and provided a great buffet breakfast. Particularly service oriented were these people Hafidh Soud Bakari Anjelina
Visited the hotel with my family Some great positives: - The staff is so helpful, professional and friendly..it definitely felt like home.A special thanks to Asad who drove the golf cart(went the extra mile to make our experience perfect) -Rooms are big and spacious. They are well cleaned and good aur condition -Quick service whenever we needed Some negatives/points that might make you choose another...

nice and clean hotel
cozy and comfortable.
This hotel is right next to the airport, so the location is unbeatable. The room was very clean and a decent size. Compared to other hotels in Zanzibar, it offers good value for money. The only downside is that it's quite far from Stone Town, about a 20-minute drive.
The room was spacious and bright, and the environment was excellent.
Nice environment, delicious breakfast
Meets expectations, highly recommended, close to the airport

Simply the best hotel in Stone Town, perfectly located in the heart of the city with a fantastic sunset viewpoint. Housed in a beautifully restored historic building, Park Hyatt Zanzibar seamlessly blends traditional Zanzibari charm with modern luxury. The design throughout the property is elegant, sophisticated, and truly stunning.

My girlfriend and I had the best few days at the Park Hyatt Zanzibar. The staff went above and beyond and were friendly and professional. I love it here.
A two night stay was eagerly extended to five because of how wonderful this property is. Impeccable and friendly staff like Ally, who has been there since the opening 11 years ago, ensured I felt right at home.

The Madinat Al Bahr hotel is conveniently located at a beach near the airport (3km, 6-10min drive) and also not far from Zanzibar City (7km, around 10-15min drive) with its famous stone town and ferry terminal to Dar Es Salaam etc. The hotel's architecture is impressive. I originally booked this hotel for its excellent location, as it is just a short walk from the ferry and a number of attractions of Stone Town. What a wonderful surprise it turned out to be! Staying here feels like being transported back to 1800s Zanzibar, but with all the comforts of 2026.

Beautifully decorated characterful hotel, lovely pool, comfortable beds, helpful staff. We had a room with a balcony facing an inner courtyard and had no problems with noise. Great location. Excellent breakfast with lots of interesting options and beautiful view from the terrace. They do evening meals too but no alcohol.

The room was beautiful and very clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food was wonderful. And a great location for walking around Stone Town which was very safe. In all an excellent stay.
Good location, convenient to go out, and there are many Chinese restaurants nearby.
This is a lovely hotel in a historic building. It’s walking distance to all the sights of Stonetown. Our room was clean and comfortable. The balcony looked out to the Indian Ocean. We state in this hotel for a few nights and I was very impressed with the stuff who was friendly and extremely positive in all aspects. The location is at the quiet side if the Stone Town. Due to it is situated inside a small alley, the directions could be quite complicated and we were lost several times to head back to the hotel. Great location in Stonetown. The hotel room was clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was great. Areas for improvement is the average service at the hotel. The hotel has a great location right in Stone City, and it's considered one of the cleaner and more modern hotels in the city. There's a rooftop restaurant, but it's quite expensive.
In the core location of Stone City, there is a highly rated restaurant on the rooftop. It takes only five minutes to walk to the night market. The free shortbread for check-in is very fragrant and delicious. The room is clean and comfortable. I will stay here again next time I go to Stone City
The hotel facilities are very old, especially the ventilation system in the bathroom. When I was in the bathroom, there was a sudden explosion, which caught me off guard. The hotel is well located in Stone Town. The room is a bit small. It is a converted old house and is not very soundproof. You need to check out at 10 am!

Low season, terrible breakfast. Neighbour hotel chuini saved this stay with amazing lunch and dinner.
