I had a wonderful stay at Koyao Island Resort. The location is absolutely stunning—peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for relaxing far from the crowds. The tented villas are spacious, beautifully designed, and very clean, with incredible views of the sea and the islands.
The staff were exceptional: warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The restaurant offered delicious food with plenty of fresh local options, and the breakfast was a great way to start each day, they also offer floating breakfast.

I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful, and unforgettable getaway in paradise. I can’t wait to come back!

This was my fifth time staying at this amazing resort, and it truly feels like coming home every time. The staff remembered me right away and made everything effortless from the moment I arrived. We took the boat tour through all the caves this time — absolutely unforgettable. The scenery was straight out of a dream, and our guide made the whole experience even more fun.

We also rented mopeds and rode around the island, discovering hidden beaches and quiet little spots to stop for drinks. It’s the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. The rooms are spotless, the food is always fresh and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere is exactly what you hope for when you escape to paradise.

Highly recommend this place to anyone — but fair warning, once you’ve been here, you’ll keep coming back just like I do.

We had an unforgettable family holiday at Koyao Island Resort. Good friends had stayed there two years ago, and highly recommended it to us. All reviews highlighting excellent meals and facilities are true. We arrived at the tail end of the rainy season and were not as lucky with the weather as we’d hoped we’d be, but the staff set up a movie for the children on one particularly soggy afternoon, and it frankly was warm enough for them to swim or play on the beach even in the rain. All staff were friendly, helpful and very kind to the children. Manager made a point of chatting with all guests at various times of day, not intrusive at all, was very helpful and friendly.

We had a lovely family beach villa that was plenty spacious enough for the five of us. Staff gave it a thorough cleaning every day. The only annoyance, and this has nothing to do with the resort itself, were the omnipresent mosquitoes. I’m sure this is due to the proximity of the beautiful mangrove forest on site, so not much can be done without interfering with the ecosystem. Staff provided a natural repellent spray, routinely lit mosquito coils and provided electric swatters, nets around the beds were helpful at night. But, despite our friends’ warning, I hadn’t been prepared for the quantity of mosquitoes.

Again, not attributable to the resort itself, but: my husband was a little disappointed by the murky sea. We had seen photos of crystal clear Thai waters in the region and expected to find the same at our hotel’s beach, but a local dive master explained that currents activate a lot of silt so visibility is generally poor. Our snorkel gear was unused over 10 days except for on one day boat trip.

This was the perfect introduction to Thailand for my preteen children and we are grateful for the excellent experience we had at Koyao Island Resort.

I had such a wonderful stay here! The view of the Andaman islands was absolutely stunning – waking up to that scenery every morning was priceless. The room was super clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The food was really good too, with plenty of options to enjoy.

What I loved most was the staff – they were so kind, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. Everything felt very flexible, which made the whole trip even more relaxing. Honestly, it felt like a perfect mix of comfort and warm hospitality. I’d definitely love to come back again! 🌴✨

This is an amazing boutique experience on the best island in Thailand. The views, grounds, and rooms were all stunning. The service was great and the restaurant was delicious. We rented a bikes and scooters and went around the whole island. It was truly a breathtaking experience. WARNING: that being said, this hotel has a "connect with nature" concept without fully enclosed rooms, so there will be bugs and you will get bites. They do provide repellent and mosquito nets for sleeping, but some amount of bites are probably inevitable. Still beautiful but keep that in mind.

the bungalows are very spacious and privacy is given for each one. Everyone of the staff is very friendly and helpful. the food is very delicous and the restaurant is outdoor, coverede, so that a nice breeze can always be felt.
After busy weeks in different cities in Vietnam and Thailand this was an amazing and wonderful hideout. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The experience starts right from the minute you get on that boat, those spectacular views through the seas as you reach the island is indescribable. The resort staff are the best people you’d ever meet, anything you want is available there and they’ll go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience! The food, the place, the rooms, everything is TOP NOTCH!! Waking up to those views, walking by the beach on the resort, drinking fresh chilled coconut waters in their cute bar is something you’ll never get bored of. My fiance planned a proposal at a nearby island and the resort staff went out of their way to make it outstanding although it was something they didn’t offer and hadn’t done before! It was a dream come true! They arranged everything and made it more than perfect!! 100/100 recommend this place for anytime or occasion! THANK YOU ☺️
