Sea Sand Sun Hua Hin by JC Kevin Hotel & Resort in Cha-Am

Pros: great sunrise view from very spacious patio, large clean rooms, free buffet breakfast . Its a relaxing quiet place, great pool, nice jazz being played during the afternoon, live singer evening during supper. Restaurant tables at the beach.

Significantly better atmosphere than Jomtien or Pattaya but very quiet!!

Cons: WIFI doesnt extend to pool and beach. Shower water not hot. Food portions small, limited selection for western food, if order online from Grab cant bring to beach

Stayed here recently and had a very good experience overall. The facilities are excellent and the service was great. When we arrived, staff took us to our room by golf cart and carried our bags in for us, which was a nice touch. Gorgeous view and spacious.

The hotel has three pools, so it never felt crowded, and the breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of options.

The location is a bit far from town, so getting to Hua Hin or Cha-am can take a while if you order a Grab. However, the hotel is fairly close to the Summer Palace — we walked there in about 30 minutes. From the hotel we also went to the Hua Hin Night Market, which was incredible and definitely worth visiting.

One thing to note is that the ocean water in that area looked a bit dirty and polluted, so it’s not the best spot if you’re planning to swim in the sea.

For transport, I would recommend using the Grab or Bolt apps rather than the hotel taxi. The hotel taxi is more convenient in terms of timing, but it costs roughly twice as much.

Very good private beach front hotel.

Good location. 15 minutes from both Hua Hin and Cha Am. Still very quiet and relax, away from town.

Nice room, clean, new and spacious for two person. At the good price.

Nice staff. They have a Happy hour at the bar. Check it out.

The best is the long and long private beach. I think this is the longest private beach in Cha Am and Hua Hin as they claim.

I will be back again one day.

Tip: Stay at Building B. Pay a little bit more the deluxe. Get a greater stay.

Staying a couple nights in the comfy double suite a fortnight ago amidst the slow monsoon season, I was lucky to get by the afternoon rain with some lazy walks and chatters in downtown. The resort shuttle provides free rides every day ten and one-ish to fro Hua Hin Clock Tower. Else, come by with family and friends in transport and enjoy the best deal of everything here if you have any business in Hua Hin.

As luck would have it during my short, satiate retreat, I was personally introduced to the new Thai BBQ menu under the hospitality of the stakeholders. Listening to the ideas and learning the takeaways, one couldn't help but must revisit this beautiful resort as is undergoing a few interesting, promising map outs in near future.

All is fair, five high flying stars for the experience and four stars for many more hopes when I return.

This place is my first choice in Cha-am and HuaHin area.

So this trip I booked the "Premier King Room Beach Front Room" room instead of the "Deluxe King Sea View Room" like I booked last time. While I believe the room IS bigger, it is for sure not "ocean front" as the name implies. The naming is a little misleading. The rooms should be named: Standard, Deluxe, Suite (there is a suite that is bigger and more expensive than the Premier King Room Beach Font Room.) This room might be in a different building than the Deluxe King Sea View Room, but it is nowhere ON or nearer the beach than the Deluxe King Sea View Room. The view might be slightly better and less obstructed, but again the name implies it is "beachfront" which it is not. At the time of booking, it was a 300 THB difference for two nights between the Deluxe King Sea View Room and the Premier King Room Beach Front Room. Anyway, the room was good, just like last time. The shower didn't drain properly, so every time my partner and I took a shower, it's like we were swimming in the ocean. It didn't flood, but just pooled up. Location is great. Lots of parking. Friendly staff. Easy to find. Google Maps is spot on and will get you to the front door.

Kid Haad Cha-am Hotel offers large rooms with sea views and a genuinely private, extensive beach. It boasts a beachfront swimming pool. The atmosphere is quiet and tranquil, making it perfect for couples or families ❤️.
