Ban's Avenue Guest House in Koh Tao Island

Very much noise because it’s in the Main Street area, would recommend only 1 or 2 nights here. Get earplugs! But very nice room and friendly staff

Its a okay hostel with great location. The hostel is right by the bar where they organize the pub crawl, which we so recommend doing, we had the best time there. If you don’t really like to go out, you should probably avoid this hostel, it’s only because you can hear loud music until early in the morning. So if you are going out every night, this won’t be a problem for you. There is a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 2 minute walk to 7elven. This hostel really saved us because we accidentally messed up our booking at a different hostel, and had basically no where to go. During our stay we saw two cockroaches, which was disturbing, but you can also spot them anywhere in Thailand. I had a spider and a spiderweb over my bed, but the staff helped me get rid of it. The bathrooms are a bit disgusting. Some people in the hostel didn’t know how to flush and keep the bathroom clean, which made it disgusting. Overall they do clean the rooms everyday. We did have a balcony which we appreciated soooo much, because we could hang out wet bathing suits to dry and also get some private life if you need to call friends and family. The staff was really nice to us, and would help us if we needed anything. The beds are just regular and you get curtains around your bed.

There was no hot water in the room in the morning. There was a nightclub downstairs. It was so noisy that I couldn't sleep. The floor was shaking.
