What a beautiful and authentic place to stay. My wife and I stayed here for two days and loved it, also because of the hospitality of the ladies who work there. Over seven years ago, I had a perfect stay at this hotel — and since then, every year, I’ve received a beautifully handwritten postcard in the mail from their staff, warmly welcoming me back. Each postcard features a timeless black-and-white illustration of the hotel, capturing its historic charm and heartfelt spirit.

I’ve stayed at over 100 hotels across Thailand, and not one has shown this level of personal care and sincerity. These handwritten notes are more than just postcards — they are reminders of the deep kindness and genuine hospitality of the Thai people here.

Lovely place in the middle of the river market area ❤️ Very unique, traditional architecture, beautifully renovated!

A rustic charm hotel along Chantaburi River, located in the old town; a clean cozy place with good breakfast. Anyway, you are required to take off your shoes before going in due to the old wooden floor.

This place is an old house so size of room and facilities is not exactly like in the hotel or resort. It’s recommended for people who like to stay and experience staying in old house which aging over 150 years in historic area and settle along the riverside. The location is superb and in the city centre of Chantabun Riverside area where you can hop around to explore the area. Room is a bit small but clean. Wooden floor that you could hear the noise while someone waking. Breakfast is impressive as it’s provided by local and authentic food and on riverside seating area. If you drive, I would recommend to call staff that could help you to reserve parking spot next to hotel.

Honestly, I didn't get a chance to book a good room at this hotel while I was in Chanthaburi recently. But I must share about this gem with all, so perhaps you can have a unique opportunity to spend night(s) at this beautiful property. (they've got a sister property down the rimnam road) This is a riverside hotel, refurbished new, so as to maintain the history and culture of the building. The room fittings are excellent and you'll find it hard to raise any complaints about anything. The classic design will ensure you step back in time, as almost all the furnishings are well thought of. It's like staying in a museum. Service from all the staff, whether you're a hotel guest or just dropping by for a meal or coffee, is SOLID. (and best of all, they should have no problems speaking with you in English, if that's your mode of communications) But please, if you need a good room, book ahead so you won't regret.

It's a very special place. get the atmosphere of the waterfront in the old days I received a birthday postcard from the hotel the following year. It was something very special that made me think about that trip again. If I have a chance, I will re-visit.
