As the name says you’re staying in an old historic house, a beautiful wooden building, right at the river in the most atmospheric street of Chanthaburi. For the only 1 night we were in town we definitely wanted to have Baan Luang Rajamaitri as our base. And we absolutely loved this place! Fantastic room, super friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. Chanthaburi is a surprisingly nice city, we wished we planned a night extra.

Great place! Beautiful historical boutique hotel. Reasonably priced. Fantastic location on the waterfront downtown. Highly recommended!

Lots of different level floor, always mind your step. Not suitable for eldery. But others are great

This community hotel offers a very local old-fashioned life style. These community travels have been contributed by the members of this neighborhood. I would say this is one the best alternative for ones who are into cultural varieties other than touristy places or resorts around this region of Thailand.
Even I am Thai living in Bangkok. I still love this place as you could not find this atmosphere in metro or downtown area in fairly-delevoped cities.

Absolutely beautiful and authentic historical hotel right in the middle of the historical Waterfront district. Will stay there next time in Chanthaburi for sure!

Photos in Online booking are not consistent with the actual one we had no clues about we had to sleep under the roof on semi-second floor. The staff helped to change the room but still not what we expected. This potentially is our fales as well on the ohter hand. Please be careful. Beside that the hotel looks histirical.
