KP Grand Hotel Chanthaburi in Chanthaburi City

An older hotel with decent maintenance but in bad need of an update. The rooms are okay but definitely out of date. The bathroom was well worn and has a bathtub. The rooftop pool is barren and uninviting. There are many empty shops and spaces that give the feel of an abandoned building.

1. This property used to be the most happening spot Pre- Covid.
2. But I visited this place after many years and was surprised to see the drastic changes in the whole area.
3. It was dimly lit, not many visitors, buffet breakfast discontinued, no toiletries in the washroom.
4. It felt like the hotel is struggling hard to survive.
5. They do provide set breakfast at a humble price of just 150 Thai Baht.
6. If you call room service, they don't have anything to offer but don't mind arranging things from the nearby Seven Eleven.
7. It's very close to the Gem Market and lots of good Massage Centers in the vicinity.
8. There's an Indian restaurant right across the road serving all types of humble food Variety.
9. The place was kinda abandoned and aloof.
10. Overall it's a good property and I wish them prosperity!
