Psych Hostel in Chiang Mai City

Good clean Hostel, staff are very nice and always there to help! Will definitely stay here again if I’m back in Chiang Mai😀

The location is fantastic, very close to Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center and Chiang Mai University, right on Nimmanhaemin Road. It's incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and strolling around. There's a 7-Eleven about 200 meters away. Both owners are very handsome and welcoming.

The room - i am staying at the family room with 2 double bed - room is surprising big with a large private bathroom. Double deck bed with one double bed on top and one at bottom (i love the bottom bed because closer to the floor. Room comes with international plugs and 4 bottles of water (some hotels even 5 star ones do not provide this anymore, maybe a glass bottle that you have to refill somewhere). Room comes with a balcony (perfect for me, as i dont really like airconds, chiang mai is cool at night anyways). and a fridge that with a working freezer (most hotel freezers do not work, maybe will cool, but not make ice).
Breakfast is provided, but then i cant comment about this because i never tried (woke up late most days, or else breakfast outside with friends).
for food - PLENTY around - you have Ban Mae on the opposite road - Thai fine dining .. i think i saw a michelin logo there as well - expect to pay a premium for that .. for breakfast, Homey Home cafe - also quite pricey, but good breakfast.
If you prefer a more local affordable fare - in the Morning - 711 on the opposite road (santisuk rd - Ban mae is located here as well) - next to the 711 there is a noodle shop with english menu and affordable price. At night, opposite that same 711 - rice or yellow noodle with duck, roast pork (the staff speak basic english, very patient and understanding as well)
This is a small hotel / hostel - security is good (doors are locked all the time) and since its small, you will meet with your fellow occupants there especially at the lobby (the lobby, with antiques and with a cool vibe, music that changes according the day (this is really some 5 star hotel stuff)

Highly recommended! The housekeeper was lovely, and even though it's a capsule hotel, it felt very private. The bathrooms were clean too. The food around the area was incredibly delicious! I'll definitely be back.

I really liked my stay at Psych hostel! Everything is new and gets cleaned multiple times a day. Sanitary is above average compared to most hostels. Furthermore, the lobby looks really cool where there’s always some relaxing music playing, and the owner is always really friendly. Highly recommend!

Good mood

My first experience for capsule room in here , is amazing, not much noise as I expected! The shower is big, but if have somewhere to put the dry clothes will be really perfect, I like stay in lobby enjoy my food and music there, most amazing is the breakfast so yummy 🤤

Worth every baht! The place is super nice and clean. Comfortable bed. Very well organized and beautiful styled. All the facilities were in good condition; hair dryer, soap, shampoo, water, fridge, shower cap, towels. Big bathroom, 2 big lockers per person. The pod was bigger than I thought and super cool! But no sockets, only usb. I only have a plug and type c so had to charge outside the pod. Free breakfast, the staff were super nice and helpful. Definitely recommended!

If you like capsule types, then this is the one. The owner is super friendly and the hotel is super clean. They change the sheets and towels every day and make the bed everyday. There's also a laundromat across the street and 7/11 nearby so it's super convenient. I would definitely come here again if I visited Chiang Mai.
