The room was good with good sea views. The breakfast was limited with no orange juice available and only hot drinks which I do not drink. No orange or apple juice to buy in their fridge either. There was a small beach at the bottom of a steep staircase shared by hotels in the area, but the staircase was in very poor condition with steep drops, overgrown trees and plants reducing the stair width and no hand barrier to hold, as it had broken off in most sections and not been maintained or replaced. It's a shame the hotels can't work together to repair the hand barrier and maintain the staircase to the beach.

A magical place with a beautiful view. Very friendly staff. The hotel has a restaurant and they brought us a hotpot right on the balcony next to our room. It was an unforgettable experience. The only downside is that it is very high you have to climb the stairs. But I guess that's a fair price of a good view

I stay here every time I go to Sichang Island. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice rooms with basic facilities

They did use a lot a lot of yellow paint, but the house isn't entirely yellow. The food is very delicious here. The owners have a small restaurant on the main floor. I really like the seafood fried rice. One of the owners speaks fluent German, so it's great for German guests. It overlooks the ocean, with a great view. There are steep steps leading down the cliffs to the ocean. There's not a beach here, but it's a 100-baht taxi ride to the beach, so it's pretty close.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Spent a lot of the time at the beginning highlighting activities and places to see on the island as well as things to be aware of (eg. Roads best avoided by scooter). Amazing view from dining area and room. Loved all the pets. Rooms quite basic but in line with undeveloped island living and were clean and maintained. Bed comfortable. No daily cleaning etc but didn't expect it anyway. Basic brekky, we extended our stay directly with the hotel and negotiated a cheaper price without brekky for the extra stay. Fantastic location, right on secluded beach but not too far from main town and primary island beach. Could walk it but probably better if you hire a scooter. Be aware there is a steep bit of steps to climb from parking to hotel, for us it was part of the charm. Would definitely consider staying here if ever visiting ko sichang again.

We are regular customers since we have stayed here for around 4-5 times already. We have chosen here mainly because of the stunning view from our balcony room, from the breakfast place terrace, and from down below (a special walk way reaching the to the bottom). It is a simple guest house with not much decor inside the room, but it is always clean and tidy.
There are few drawbacks but since we are regular clients, we can easily adjust and prepare ourselves. For example, they don't have food service, except for a simple breakfast with unlimited instant drinks and instant noodles if you get hungry at night. That's why we would normally buy food from 7-11 convenience store on our way back to the guesthouse.
The island is not that big, so we can actually walk from the Pier to the guesthouse. If you didn't rent a bike, you can ask for Tuk tuk service and they would offer you round trip from the guest house to the beach for only 250THB (we walked once back was pretty tiring since the walk can be quite steep at some points 😅)
Lastly, the owner has many cats (around 10) so each time we go there, we go to spend time with them and see them grow every time we go back. I think this is a highlight if you are a cat lover 😺

On May 29th, I visited YELLOW HOUSE in Koh Sichang with my wife. The resort is on a cliff overlooking the Gulf of Thailand, and the sunsets are amazing. When we arrived on the island, we had to rent a motorbike to get to our accommodation, but first, we had to pay 300 baht per day for the rental, I asked the owner of the resort in advance and got the rental. I was surprised to find such a nice island and accommodation halfway from Bangkok to Pattaya, The owner's warm hospitality and suggestions for places to visit and places to eat on the island were great. The price per night varies from room to room, but our room was around 1500 baht (including breakfast). Being located on a cliff, it was fun to have to do some unwanted exercise, and the view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. The hotel also sells beer, so we had a very enjoyable and fantastic trip without any difficulties. It's a very nice place that I personally don't want to share, but it's too beautiful to keep to myself :-)

I stayed at this place last weekend. The service was terrible. The Thai owner and his wife did not personally greet me when I arrived, but only interacted in a cold manner with my Thai companion. The owner complained when, after our first full day out, which of course included swimming at a beach, as this is a resort island, we asked for two fresh towels. He was so foul. When we returned that day, we were shocked to see that the room had not been cleaned. When we complained about this, the guy and his wife made lame excuses and didn't think to apologize. The bed is as hard as the floor. The toilet seat is not connected to anything. It can just slide off when you use it. The cover for the water heater for the shower is coming off. One of the owner's dogs bit me when I petted another dog that was being friendly. The feeling we got the entire time was that the man who's the apparent owner/manager is a miserable creature who doesn't know the first thing about treating guests decently. The staff did not think to inform us about the schedule of boats returning to Si Racha on the mainland in Chonburi. There was no hospitality and not an iota of professionalism. Don't make the mistake of spending money to stay at this joint.

We came to Koh Sishang by chance because we still had one day left before we left. It was the best decision to stay in the Yellow House on Koh Sishang!!! The view of the bay from our balcony was simply heavenly and the host was very helpful and accommodating. He helped us a lot with the motorbikes and transporting our luggage on the day of departure. Basically, the Yellow House looks a little morbid and cluttered. But that's the case all over Koh Sishang and is probably authentic Thailand. If you want to experience Thailand as it is away from the big cities, you should come here.

The location of this hotel in that small bay is the worst, the room is small and bumpy, and there is no restaurant to order takeaway.
