Where to stay with kids in Chonburi

I was traveling alone with my child and was hesitant to switch rooms again, fearing more hassle, so I decided to bear with it. The next three days turned into a nightmare

The hotel is very close to Pattaya Beach, and Terminal 21 is nearby. Chinatown is right behind the hotel, where you can find Chinese food

It's far from the bar area, so it's very quiet at night, which is great for sleeping

When choosing a hotel, InterContinental is always my pick. The breakfast is excellent and the location is superb.

Breakfast was lovely, selection is a bit smaller but they still have varied dishes. I suggest serving Thai tea at breakfast, hot or cold, I had that at every hotel breakfast in Thailand except Holiday inn

The front desk, room service, and restaurant service were all excellent. The hotel's location is fantastic; turn left from the lobby, walk about 100 meters, cross the road, and you're at the beach

Though I upgraded to ocean pearl and they show the open deep bathtub with rose petals in it. But the hotel didn't have any bath salts or bubble bath or anything

The only minor thing is that parking near the entrance is quite limited, so you may need to park a little farther away, but the hotel provides a convenient golf cart service to take guests to the lobby, so it’s not really a problem

Hotel is luxurious, stunning views, typical nice hotel rooms, more adult leaning than the beach club though you have access to their facilities too

Private beach, and for me the massive - truly massive pools and manicured gardens and cabanas were the highlight. And twice the size of Olympic pools

We spent a lot of time at the pool at the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel, which was perfect for lounging and soaking up the atmosphere. Overall, a wonderful stay from start to finish. We’d happily return and highly recommend it

Great hotel/resort in a gorgeous location perched right on the cliff at Cozy Beach. Has one of the best infinity pools I have seen at a resort, with lots of shade & comfortable sun lounges

If we had requests/issues and called staff came within minutes. Sometimes their English is not perfect, so misunderstandings may occur, but remember YOU are the guest in their country… The breakfast buffet was AMAZING

This hotel is practically connected to Terminal 21, the famous shopping mall in Pattaya. You can walk out of the hotel and be at the mall's Gate 1 in about 30 seconds, which is incredibly convenient

ABSOLUTELY BEST FAMILY HOLIDAY! Such lovely staff, great location and fantastic facilities. Breakfast was so well organised and tasty every morning. Rooms are a bit small but very clean and tidy

It's also very close to the popular Pattaya Sunset Rainbow Road, just a 5-minute walk away. That's also where you hit the Pattaya beach

The breakfast was excellent, and the pool facilities were great, especially for children. Highly recommended; I would definitely stay at this hotel again next time.

The only slight downside is the location and F&B prices, as there aren’t any shops or attractions within easy walking distance, though transport is inexpensive and easy to use

We chose this location for our wedding (Thai ceremony in the morning and Western wedding in the evening) and it turns out to be extremely magical

The hotel manager ethos is to make gets feel like they are part of the family. We were certainly made to feel that way. Nothing to complain about and certainly much to recommend if you choose to visit Pattaya

The hotel staff is incredibly helpful , polite & friendly. My only concern would be the rude guests who usurp the chairs next to the swimming pool by leaving things there while they eat breakfast

Rooms were good but didn't like the transparent window of the bathroom looking in to the bed room. But other then that it had the best breakfast buffet, amazing pool and a good back entrance/exit to the beach front

Met the food and beverage Manager who is a lovely man, he is present and available for a conversation whenever you may be around and will take the time to speak with you and get to know you

Stayed at the Avani Resort Hotel Pattaya for three nights. Room was on the 9th floor with balcony and views over Pattaya Beach. Room was clean and very well serviced every day

Stayed in December of 2025 and location was absolutely great. Staff were very friendly and pool area was very nice as well. You can access both 2nd street or the beach road from the property

My son was not well still they dint give room just 1 hour before check in time. For going to anywhere you need to hire a cab. Far from all tourist destinations

The reception staff needs retraining. The room is acceptable. The location is near the sea and market, making it convenient for travel. The housekeeper is lovely.

There aren't many toys for children, but it's quiet and can be a good place to relax. We bought a day pass, which wasn't cheap, and the food wasn't great. The second is underground, suitable for younger children

The Lost World (or something similar, I don't remember the exact name) has large outdoor climbing nets and slides, but it was too sunny to play much. There's an indoor area showing cartoons and simple wooden houses

The beachfront restaurant was particularly delicious, every dish was excellent. We arranged a car back to Bangkok through the front desk. There are three kids' clubs: 1. A members-only area offering simple meals

Cake and cookie making activities are also held in this area. Our main focus was on playing in the water and enjoying the sea. The restaurants outside the hotel were also very good, and shopping was convenient

The location and environment are absolutely superb, very close to Terminal 21. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, so much so that you could just lounge around inside all day without needing to go out.

While the building isn't as new as some high-end Bangkok hotels, after insisting with the front desk not to be on a lower floor due to a late check-in, we got a room on a floor with a good view

Pool is a decent size and drinks can be purchased poolside. There are two breakfast areas in the hotel and I would recommend trying one of there fresh juices in the main lobby. Hope to see the staff again soon

Overall, it's pretty good and quiet. There's a songthaew right outside the door, which is super convenient. It's also very close to the Lan Po seafood market, and they even offer free breakfast from 6-10 AM!

This garden hotel, recommended on Xiaohongshu, has a super clean and fun pool! Great value for money! It's right next to the Sanctuary of Truth, and the rooms are incredibly spacious! There's also a beach nearby where you can stroll, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves was blissful

Excellent location, sea water quality good, pool good, plenty of parking, sunbeds insufficient for number of tourists and the sauna/steam room does not work. The hotel itself is adequate and functional

Based on Google, this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel with a rating of 4. I would be more inclined to say it's a 3. The lobby and views to the beach and pool were GORGEOUS

The pool and private beach access were really amazing and made up for some of the other areas that were lacking but I still wouldn't rate it higher than a 4 star

There are many 7-Eleven stores nearby. Within a 500-meter walk, you'll find plenty of small restaurants, pharmacies, and massage shops. This is a resort area, so you'll see foreigners everywhere, but not many locals

However, both hotels have balconies, and the rooms are separated from the balconies by glass sliding doors, so you can hear conversations from next door. Otherwise, everything else was pretty good

For food vegetarian options are less but during breakfast their hotel staff helped us in finding options. Their restaurant manager named Peter was very humble and always ready to help us

The restaurant is right by the sea, offering great views where you can enjoy breakfast with the sound of waves. The breakfast spread is extensive, and the boat noodles are delicious

The long beach is perfect for walks, and there are plenty of pools. The only downsides are the poorly designed bathroom layout, with the toilet awkwardly squeezed behind the glass partition of the shower

Came to Pattaya to escape the cold and stayed at the Pullman. The surroundings are beautiful, and it has its own private beach – swimming was very enjoyable. Getting around was also convenient

Had a wonderful time staying at Pullman Pattaya Hotel G. Location is great, right on the beach and close to a few sights and the local mall Terminal 21 which they had a free shuttle to and from the hotel

Also, the shower only has a rainfall head (didn't use the bathtub, so can't comment on that). Plus, there's the sound of cuckoos starting around 5 AM

This hotel is not centrally located and does not have any shared public transport. But private transport is easy to organize around the city. Good food options everywhere

There's golf cart service for arrivals and departures, and the spa isn't far either. The ambiance is great, and a 2-hour session was only 700 baht! The quality was really high too! So satisfying
