We come to this hotel every year. The main plus is the absence of other guests. Only the Ocean building is open. Three floors (9, 11, and 12) have been renovated, and the rooms are called 'Ideal Room'. Breakfasts are à la carte at Pasta Pasta.

Arrived late on the first night, and the shared dorm was a bit chaotic with only Indians around. Perhaps due to the time, the toilets, shower rooms, and sinks were quite messy. However, the next morning, the staff cleaned them thoroughly, so it wasn't an issue. What surprised me most was the excellent location and the fact that you could use the pool for this price!

after five nights stay, just now checking out. in every respect this hotel is best as per location, dinning, rooms and other facilities. cleaning and room maintenance staff lady somehow was very badly behaving inspite of giving her tips. Flamingo staff is extremely good. all daily need facilities are nearby. to sum up it is satisfying experience.

The location of hotel is good. Pattaya beach is walkable distance (1.8km). Market is nearby. Hotel rooms are okay, staff is way too rude. Most of the Staff doesn't understand english except reception staff. They are rated 4 star rated hotel but in reality it's just 2-3 star category.

The hotel automatically downgraded my room from the type I originally booked because it wasn't available, and then refused to let me cancel my reservation. I was quite frustrated, but the front desk lady was nice. Big shoutout to Trip.com's customer service for their quick follow-up; they proactively contacted me, calmed me down, and helped me figure out a solution!

The high-floor view was great, but it was crowded with tour groups when I visited.

An old gem in a very convenient location. It’s very close to the beach, Bangla Street, and other key attractions, so getting around is quite easy. The stay is budget-friendly, and having a buffet breakfast included is definitely a nice bonus.

On the first day, they gave me a room with thin walls. I could hear all my neighbors' conversations. The built-in air conditioner was really loud. I walked barefoot and my feet turned black. There was also a sewage smell. The next day, they moved me to a different room, and everything was fine there.

This is a typical Red Planet place. I like that it’s easy to get and use. It’s great for one-two nights. However, in this particular hotel there is one big problem: noisy ACs. All the staff are lovely. There is a shuttle service to the restaurant and then to the garden.  Both when going and when returning, it is very suitable for a family vacation.

This hotel is in a lively nightlife area and close to shops, bars and restaurants. The room is good with a soft bed, aircon and hot shower. This is the 2nd time I've stayed there and both times it's been good.

Currently staying here on my latest visit. Have been coming here for many years with my Thai partner. Lovely old hotel with clean, recently renovated rooms and great staff who have been here forever. Quiet but close to everything. I don’t book breakfast after some less than good experiences. Most clientele is mature aged, which makes for a better night’s sleep.

The best things about this hotel are its walking distance to the beach and the rooftop pool. My previous stay was good, but this time it was awful – the elevator was broken, the towels were torn, and the pool no longer provided towels. Been staying at the hotel multiple times. The location is very convenient, the reception staff is always helpful. But i think it's time to invest in renovation, since now some room elements are quite dated. Also the bedsheets are often stained. I've left tips for the housekeeping, but they didn't care to change bedsheets

Everything was good here. The staff were very nice and the room also. There's a restaurant which was a highlight for me. My review is late, December 27 - January 3rd 2023. Things have changed according to the latest reviews. I had good luck with an awesome cleaning crew who were very respectful. I enjoyed my stay there.

Four of us stayed in two rooms. The building is old, but the rooms have been renovated and are beautiful. The value for money, location, and friendly staff made for a pleasant stay.
