Reviews
I stayed at Ton Hon room type with seaview room is comfy and nice decorations with warm welcome by Kuaytod cats reception 🤭. I will recommend it to my friend for sure. Thx for best services.
The room is so tiny I've kept bumping into corners. Really, this small. And it could use renovations.
One star less because the dorms have no window / no fresh air, which isn‘t indicated in the description.
There are also two adorable cats.
It's close to the Sattahip morning market, Wat Luang Pho Ee, and Dong Tan Beach, so you can easily walk around and explore.
Nestled along the harbor in Sattahip’s traditional fishing village, Sattahiptale offers a genuine local experience. It’s the only hostel in Sattahip, about 40 km south of Pattaya, and surrounded by fresh markets, food stalls, and local life .
Boasting top‑tier guest ratings (around 9.3/10) on platforms like HotelsCombined (425+ reviews) and Trip.com , this guesthouse impresses with value, vibe, and service.
⸻
🌟 Atmosphere & Design
Decorated in a navy‑and‑wood theme inspired by Sattahip’s maritime and naval heritage, rooms are named after ship positions like “Captain” or “Bosun” and built using reclaimed wood from old fishing boats . The cozy interiors feel stylish yet homey.
The standout is the rooftop bar: evening cocktails with sea breeze and stunning harbor views — guests repeatedly mention it as one of the best rooftop lounges in Thailand .
⸻
🛏️ Rooms & Comfort
• Rooms are compact but thoughtfully furnished: comfortable beds, soft lighting, small tables, and aesthetic décor .
• Some notes on noise and bed firmness: a few guests found walls thin or beds firm/thin, although most didn’t mind .
• Sea‑view rooms are available and offer lovely views from morning to sunset; highly recommended for couples or solo travelers seeking a scenic stay .
⸻
👐 Service & Host Experience
The hosts—Gak, Jack, and their friendly team—are frequently praised for very warm hospitality and authentic local guidance. One guest said: “We come as guests and leave as friends” .
“Amazing staff, drove us out to the Navy base to see the turtles. Super kind and helpful. Very clean hostel, roof top was lovely…” — Nikki’s review
Housekeeping is consistent and top-rated across platforms: cleanliness around 9.4–9.5/10 .
