Consists of two 3-storey buildings.
The hotel has 56 rooms.
Beach: public, sandy, 700 m from the hotel (3 coastline). Shuttle-bus to the beach of Ao Nang (free).
Deposit when you check in there. Smoking is allowed on the balcony.

From the check in to the check out everything was more than perfect. We arrived around 10pm and as soon as we stepped out of the van there was someone waiting with a big smile to welcome us! Check in was quick and easy, and the staff carried our bags to the room. The room and the hotel looks exactly like the pictures advertised, they provide a beach bag and umbrella. Daily cleaning refills everything you need, and the housekeeping team is amazing. Breakfast is really good. Swimming pool squeaky clean, actually everything was really new and clean. All staff are super friendly and helpful. At checkout they helped us to get a taxi to our next destination and again carried our bags to the van. Great location, with tour companies, motorbike hire and plenty of shops and restaurants around. The beach is a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. We will definitely come back one day!

Nice and clean place, really good location close to the night market. Cozy balconies in every room, really nice to have your evening beer with local street food bought on night market. Also every room is conditioned and has a safe for your passports and money. The only thing that seemed strange to me is there are no electric sockets near the bed, so if you want to charge your phone while sleeping you need to put it across the room near TV.

My stay at 8icon was great we had the quadruple room with bunk bed and two twins. We arrived very late after midnight and were worried we would have a room in a location on property that would be least desirable but we ended up with a very convenient room on the first floor.
The room was pretty spacious for me and two other friends nice seating area inside and just outside the room. The housekeepers and staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is fairly new and updated with furniture bathroom and appearance.
Like others mentioned the deposit for another room key was kinda annoying, but that was about the only negative. I would recommend staying at 8icon good location very walkable to the beach with stores, restaurants, shops all near by and a night market next door.
Would come back in the future!

My first reaction to the place is that the lobby was open and beautiful. The check in process was easy and they gave us mango juice when we came. When I entered the room, although the room was clean, the towels looked old and there was a little stain on the bed (but it was clean). I was nervous that I wouldn't like my stay but that quickly changed. Firstly, the staff is so nice and helpful! The room is cleaned everyday and the location is perfect- right next door to a night market, close to a lot of shops and food, only like a 10 min walk to the beach or 100 baht for a ride. They have a nice pool that was not crowded when we went at all. You do have to put a 200 baht deposit on pool towels if you want to use them for the pool or the beach. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was big and cozy, with comfortable bed, wardrobe, refrigerator, air conditioner, safe box, hairdryer and balcony. The light was nice and various ways to light the room in the night. Breakfast was good and various. Free water in the room. Kind staff, they helped us with some calls and information. Daily housekeeping. Nice pool.
Room was not so silent, noise come especially from the bathroom, pulling water from other toilets, shower noise from others... They have small ants in the room and in the bathroom.

Good and affordable room. The quality of the room is great and neat. Recommended. The only offset is the variety of selection for the breakfast but it doesn’t matter as the food taste not bad

Really great hotel. Clean, cosy, fully equipped (beach towels, slippers, beach bag). Comparing to other areas in Ao Nang, the location of 8Icon is excellent - no dark alleys and in close distance to restaurants and shops.
