I booked a room here off of a recommendation from a friend of my father's. It's only a half block from the beach, but that was about all it had going for it. We walked into reception, and there was a sign pointing somewhere around the corner that was not very easy to understand. We went around the corner, and the person asked, is there no one at the reception desk? So we went back, and waited 15 minutes for the receptionist to show up. As our room wasn't ready yet, which we expected, the receptionist wanted us to leave our luggage in a hallway between the front desk, and the front of the building, which looked like a massage business of sorts. I wasn't having that, as I had an expensive laptop and money I didn't want to have to carry into the ocean with me, because just anyone could have walked in and walked off with our things, so we left and found another nicer place to stay just a few minutes further from the beach.

Good guest. Clean, comfortable, walking distance to the beach. There is wifi and laundry facilities. Shared bathroom. Minus a star, because the fan did not work in our room, the staff speaks only Thai and during our stay there was a renovation (the walls were painted and something was drilled).

Very cheap place (500 bht). Rooms are not nice, not particularly clean. No toilet paper in the shared bathroom. Towels included. We took them clothes for laundry, and didn't have it to us one day later than accorded. EXTREMELY NOISY!!!! It feels like you are sleeping in the main street. No wall between the dorm and the corridor, the higher part is mosquitos tissue, so everything that happens in the corridor happens in your room, at least our room was like this.

Rooms are simple but clean. The mattresses are unfortunately very saggy. The location is absolutely perfect.
