XPai Guesthouse was a lovely spot to stay during my time in Pai. The rooms were simple but clean and comfortable, with everything I needed. The real highlight was the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful garden setting—it felt like a little oasis just outside the centre. Perfect if you're looking for a quiet, affordable, and authentic Pai experience.

I will begin with pictures aren’t matching with reality.. unfortunately the day I arrived, the dorm wasn’t clean and reception is open until 4 pm only with no places to eat or drink around the area ( if you don’t have transportation) i didn’t have any towel or linen for the night and since I was exhausted, I tried to have a small nap which become a nightmare 🫣my body was itching and I thought it was a mosquito in the room but when I checked on my back, I had 10 bites from a bug that I found in the bed, I tried to explain trough booking.com the situation and either the hotel or booking wanna help, they haven’t even refunded!!! Unbelievable because they said that it was nothing on the bed… I even sent a picture with the bites in my back, anyways this is my story, you can believe it or not to go in the place…

The breakfast was substandard with old watermelon and fermented pineapple. Room was clean and acceptable ,aircon worked well. The water is not clear. Overall experience was ok.

I loved the room, super clean and very well decorated, you also have a swimming pool there, the front desk woman is very cool, funny and helpful, the only thing is it s location (3km from the walking street ) so I definitely advice to rent a motorbike if you can) there is not a lot of taxi , mostly during the night time so it might be tricky, also there is a little bar in the hostel but it closes around 9, so or you have your backup or you will have to go to town ! I highly recommend but better if you have a bike !

The guesthouse is lovely, clean and has got a beautiful location. The service was the best. Really helpful and nice. No language barriers. Overall a perfect stay!

Rooms are nice but no hot showers. The common area is really lacking… there’s limited comfy chairs… their platform deck is basically empty

Incredible place far from the noises of the city, if a chill time and family vibes is what you’re looking for, that’s your place.
The staff is very kind and willing to help with anything, the dorm is very clean, and the beds are comfy, AC works properly without noise haha!
I have got the dorm just for me during my stay, which was some very cool, there is also a space to do yoga, stretching or training.
The place is a bit far from downtown, but if you have a scooter no big deal, I didn’t so I have been hitchhiking with the locals, walking, or got myself a bicycle for a few days, anyway it’s definitely worth it.
Hot showers, enough showers and bathrooms, small kitchen to cook, and beautiful view.

Great hostel to take a few days of rest. I stayed at a dorm for 6, but I was alone. I was happy I was because the rooms seem quite small for 6. I would rent a scooter if you stay here to go around as there is not much around the hostel itself. Overal it was really nice and I am glad I stayed here two nights. The room and bathroom where very clean. And ofcourse the pool an sitting area were a great bonus. I recommend for travellers who need a break from the social hostels.

Me and my friends just spent the past few days here and absolutely loved it, the place was absolutely beautiful!! Tammi the owner was the loveliest lady and helped us out with everything - we got breakfast offered every morning, treated my leg, there was no Grab or Bolt in Pai so she gave us a super reasonable taxi number, told where to go and where should be avoided on the motorbikes and had no problems for only £3 a day. Couldn’t recommend this hostel anymore!

We kept extending our stay here because we loved it so much. One of the best deals as far as hostels go in Pai! Super cool AC rooms, free breakfast, a pool and a shaded deck area with comfy chairs to lay on! Very affordable. The lady working reception is one of the kindest and sweetest people we've interacted with on our trip. She will make you feel super welcomed in her space :)
