Baan Krating Pai Resort in Pai

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, especially because of the atmosphere. The place feels calm, relaxed, and welcoming, which made it easy to enjoy our time there. The view was absolutely perfect and truly one of the highlights of the stay. Waking up and looking out at the scenery was a beautiful experience, and it added a lot to the overall feeling of the place.

Since we were staying as a couple, the experience felt especially enjoyable and romantic. The peaceful surroundings and the view created a nice, intimate vibe that we really appreciated. It’s definitely a good choice for couples looking for a quiet and romantic stay.

That said, there were a few issues worth mentioning. The air conditioner was quite noisy, and the fan was as well, which sometimes made it harder to fully relax, especially at night. In addition, there was a missing lamp in the bedroom, which would have made the room more comfortable and better lit. These are small things, but they do affect the overall comfort.

The staff, however, were very kind, friendly, and pleasant, which made a positive difference throughout our stay. They were welcoming and helpful, and their attitude really added to the experience.

In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for couples, but it’s important not to expect luxury or perfection. If you come with realistic expectations, enjoy the view, and appreciate a warm atmosphere and friendly staff, you’ll likely have a very nice stay.

The place is very quiet , I slept very well because it's surrounded by the nature , birds , etc...

The swimming pool is also very nice even if cold, there is lot of space around dor chill.
But there is a shortage of deckchairs.

The service is perfect , Korn who is present at hte reception is a very nice person. Very kind and helpful.

ok where to start. first i was very skeptical coming there with the reviews so i came to check the place first as i was looking to stay 1 month, definitely expecting some orange flags or even red flags here and there in my criteria which are : peace, clean, good sleep, not too far and good vibe.

well this place meet definitely all those criteria.

so for the positive side ive been tryying 5 place since i arrived because i want to stay for a month and in all those places there was either a dog barking in the night, roosters starting at 3h30 or a loud motorbike passing by in the road nearby of those hotels, all red flags to me. but in Baan Krating theres none of that i have the most delicious and recovering sleep i can dream for, the night are peacefull, many people here are returning people because of this peace and silent nights.

The staff is super friendly, the location is 5 min motorbike from almost everything,i can run on the road next to it without being jumped over by dogs and the swimmming pool (which is fresh but i didnt find a not fresh pool in december in all northern thailand..) is perfect after my morning run, it woud be nice to have few more sunbed though but thats a detail

so now why are there some bad review ? yes its quiet old from the outside, sometimes the garden look a little bit messy but i dont see it impacting the quality of my stay and the room is well taken cared of, it just positively impacts my wallet as if it was freshly new and japanese garden style with all those advantage i mentionned, it would cost 4 times more..

definitely a GEM if you want restful night to be able to enjoy all Pai has to offer with a fresh mind and body.

oh and because there are 2 balconies with mosquito net door, its possible to have a nice breeze inside the room, i do it 1 hour before sleep

PS im a very sensitive sleeper thats why i put so much value in having my sleep right

It was truly like living in paradise. On spring day, Korn gave me a huge bunch of 25 bananas. It was so nice to have lived there for a while. I enjoyed the pool every day I could.

Really beautiful resort in Pai. Beautiful property with an excellent outdoor pool. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and hearty. My only suggestions for improvement would be better wifi and better bath towels.

The garden environment is OK. The room is OK. The swimming pool is dirty and cannot be used. The water boiler is too old.

Rooms were nice and cozy, with a sweet terrace that overlooked at green and trees. Great breakfast and service, staff are very kind. A bit far from the walking street but it didn’t bother us as we had a scooter anyway. Great place overall.

A little bit worn out rooms, but overall a great value. Intense sounds of nature: bird and frog songs.
