Sangjun On Beach Resort in Bang Saphan

We loved this location and would stay again. Rooms are very outdated (and bathroom has a smelly drain). But we wanted something right on the beach, and it was. We stayed in the Bungalow with Seaview rooms, which are right on the beach, would recommend. The other wood cabin rooms don't look onto the beach, they are close-ish still.
You will need a car to get around, and google maps told us to drive along the beach to get here, which was confusing. The woman wasn't as smiley as I had expected from other reviews, but when I asked her questions about the wifi being down, she was really great and laughed at the dog sleeping under our car when I did. She also brought us fresh coconuts in the morning of our check out just as a surprise.
This room had a shared deck (with one other room), large fridge, kettle, tv, good wifi, and is surrounded by palms and a few hammocks. There are several dogs that hang around that are all really friendly. There is no food onsite, which we knew, and didn't bother us. It's a short walk to an Italian place from what we saw. Will stay again!

Amazing place. Incredible relaxation. Very beautiful sunrises. A wonderful hostess. Thanks for all. We miss and really look forward to the end of the pandemic and it will be possible to come again.

Peaceful, helpful owners, lovely location. The furniture is old, but it didn't spoil a pleasant stay. Nearby restaurants are handy if you're too lazy to drive into town for food. You will definitely relax here. It really is on the beach.
