This place looks far from the city but it's not. The hotel is surrounded by nature. So you can enjoy your time. The room is really nice and spacious.

The resort has a bedbug infestation. They moved us from one room into another in the middle of the night. The following day after having washed and bagged up all of our clothing and items we saw more bedbugs in the new room. The staff refused to refund us anymore than 450 baht. The toilet was green and we are covered in bites now. They also moved a new couple into our room from the first night which we had left due to bedbugs. I would never in good conscience recommend anyone to stay here.

Lovely resort, peaceful and beautiful. The staff were the most useful, smiling and amazing. The rooms were clean, big, with a nice balcony overlooking a river. There is not much to see in Surat Thani but we relaxed in this beautiful place for two days before continuing our journey towards Koh Tao.

Wow I'm absolutely flabbergasted at what was just experienced during the wife and I's two night stay at Ruean Thai Nai Bang. Imagine this you're in a picturesque jungle resort surrounded by flowing water, coconut palms and an abundance of flora and fauna. The room itself was simple yet had everything required for our stay including air conditioning, great shower facilities & clean bathroom. Out the back porch was a beautiful little terrace overlooking the water and jungle. It felt like being submerged deep within mother natures embrace. The restaurant on the property served an incredible selection of Thai cuisine. Much to my surprise this was the best food I'd eaten on the whole 2 week adventure in Thailand, I would honestly fly back here just to eat at this restaurant again. Last but not least shout outs to the wonderful staff who made the stay amazing. The man working at the restaurant Tie went above and beyond throughout our meal and provided quality banter and warm smiles. The saddest part of the whole experience was leaving. Cannot wait to return hope you get to experience all the beautiful things we did!
