Was a great way to have a good quality price stay, in airconditioned room. One downside is that you need your stone plates with, which most travelers obviously don't take with for luggage weight constraints. Which causes you to use plastic plates and then use hot water which is not the most of healthy. Therefore this should be avoided, best is to buy your stone plates. Though trough the great price...

On the one hand, this is the cheapest hotel we found and it was conveniently located. On the other hand, there was a used hypodermic needle under our bed along with many dead bugs and a live roach or two. Good for the price, but I'd rather pay more for something cleaner.

Thai style hotel a little dated but the rooms are clean with a large double bed, air con, fridge/mini bar in the room, hot water shower. The hotel is in walking distance to Central shopping mall and handy for any one heading to or from the airport. There is a restaurant downstairs offering a simple breakfast it's basic but at 80bht its a bargin, the room was 490bht/night which is a very good price

The atmosphere is amazing, perfect for relaxation. The view is great, it's close to the Tapi River, and it's convenient for a stopover while waiting for the ferry to Koh Tao.

A very reasonably priced hotel with clean and comfy room and small balcony. The location is just over the bridge the other side from the main town but it is quite peaceful and very easy to access the night markets. I would recommend renting a moped or even a bicycle would be fine. If you visit, walk down to the waterfront near the crossroads bar and you might see a big monitor lizard in the tree. Also...

Booked a room through the website and paid the full amount. On the check-in day, the staff gave our room to another customer. This is very unacceptable.

Stayed here after doing the national park and before our flight. Comfy bed is what was needed and it is what we got by far comfiest bed laid in throughout thailand. Big spacious bedrooms and service was great from helping with bags too bringing coffee & toast to our door before we left. 10/10

Everything is fine, but there is no hot water, I climbed into a cold bath for a minute and got sick, how can you lie in a cold bath?

Highly recommend this hotel for everyone who have a morning flight in Surat Thani! The hotel is near the airport. It’s around 6 km. (I think they have airport pickup service but we rent a car so it’s convenient) Staff is so helpful and everything is convenient and clean. Would love to stay here again!

Booked to stay here before moving onto Koh Phangan; only I'd stupidly booked the wrong month. Luckily, the night receptionist found us a room and also managed to refund the wrong booking. Great service. The breakfast sandwich and drink were also decent.

Best hotel in the area I guess. We were driving from Phuket to catch a ferry to Koh Samui. Arrived to Don Sak when it was dark already. And it was a pleasure to settle in a nice hotel. Bed was super comfortable. Only stayed one night before catching the ferry to Samui. Was a great place to crash for the night after 8 hours of driving. Got there just before sunset, 100% worth the ocean view. Was a bit noisy with the shuttle boat going in and out but honestly it was more charming and added to the coolness of the place. Would 100% stay here again.

overall the hotel is not bad. New. Everywhere smells fine. The room is cozy. The shower is spacious and hot. The bed linen is fresh and pleasant to the body. But there is a very huge minus - soundproofing! it is absent altogether. With the first rays of the sun, old boats with terribly noisy engines begin to drive, carrying people from shore to shore. Fishermen gather at the boat stop and talk so loudly...

A sweet place by the back waters, not too far from the ferry point . The staff was also very polite and nice. The rooms were very clean and reasonably priced. We didn't regret staying here at all.

This place could be great. However it has been neglected for a long time. As you can see from the photos, it has not been renovated. Toilet doesn’t flush, no hot water, walls dirty and paint peeling, moldy walls and dangerous and cutting tiles. If owners put a little effort, this could be a little paradise.

Each unit have its own dedicated building. The unit i stay have 2 floor and can stay up to 4 people. Room was ok, a lot of space and well-prepared. Other thing i spot is the room on the 1st floor have a stepped floor in front of the bed. It's quite dangerous, you may need to watch your step.

Just stay there for 1 night. River view for both bedrooms with a really big and comfortable bathroom. Staff also really nice and always smiling.

Great location, plenty of parking, room was big for 3 person and for the price, and bathtub was a bonus, clean toilet and shower area, balcony, they also provide 6x 500ML bottle water during my stay, only downside is too many mosquito, they do provide the mosquito smacker thing so you can destroy your enemies

The highlight of this hotel is the staff, they made us feel so welcomed and helped with any requests we had to the best of their ability. The hotel is an older building but from the looks of it has been recently refurbished and was great value for money.

This place is basic. Definitely in need of some improvement in furniture, black mold and moldy smell in the washroom- evening after I requested that it was cleaned. The staff are great and the rooms are clean.

Very nice quiet hotel by Tapee river, amazing swimming pool and very nice staff

I loved that the staff were friendly and helpful. What I didn't like was that the shower was very slippery and dangerous. The resort was nice but it looked a bit run down as though it had fallen on hard times and the wifi didn't work. The kind and friendly and helpful staff more than made up for that though and I would definitely stay again.

Would be more than happy to stay again on my next travel back to Surat Thani.

Not so chic but not too shabby. Room is comfortable and even has a table and fridge. Only complaint is two large cockroaches got into the room. Not sure how they got in, but I went to the front desk and staff were quick to respond.

The hotel truly lives up to its name, 'Chic'. The room was quite small. Air conditioning and hot water were included in the total price, which was a nice touch. There are some lovely Japanese restaurants nearby. However, I must say, the constant noise from motorcycles on the street throughout the night was quite disruptive.

The room was very small, but the location is very convenient, close to the night market and bus stops to the ferries and the airport. Friendly staff

It was peaceful and comfortable. The owner, an elderly gentleman, was very kind. I would love to talk to him again and see his old travel photos. He tells very interesting stories. I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to him when I left for Kanchanaburi. I hope to have the opportunity to sit and listen to him tell stories again.

The rooms are nice and clean, the beds are comfortable. It's a separate wooden house, the atmosphere is shady and peaceful, and it's close to the market. The owner, an elderly lady, is very kind.

We stayed at Evergreen overnight to travel over to Koh Samui the next day. The room is clean and tidy, staff are friendly helpful. It is close to restaurants and café, it's a convenient location. I'm not surprised that the hotel does not provide breakfast given the price. I will stay there again for a short lay over.

The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The receptionist seemed very bored and was not very friendly. Even though I said hello, she did not reply. There is a breakfast bar on the ground floor next to the car parks. It has basic tea and coffee, bread and jam. It is really nothing special. Overall we were happy because we just wanted a good room.

The bed was comfortable and didn't cause back pain. The room was simple and compact. I lost my key card on my return trip, but the housekeeper was very helpful and provided excellent advice.
