A lovely quiet place on Koh Phaluay. We stayed here for 3 nights and then extended our stay for two more days. Nai the employee was a wonderful host. He works incredibly hard and nothing was too much trouble.
The food at the homestay was simple but nice. You can eat there the entire day. We did try some other places too - just don’t expect a huge range of options on the island. You can also rent mopeds for 300 baht per day which is absolutely necessary if you want to explore the rest of the wonderful island! Don’t miss out on the 360 viewpoint - absolutely spectacular.
If you don’t expect luxury and want an authentic experience of a part of Thailand that is still relatively untouched by tourism, then don’t miss out on this place.

Perfect stay for the beautiful island of Koh phaluai. Nice bungalows directly at the beach. Best host. He is the nicest person in the world :)

We had the best stay here thanks to Nai. The resort is beautiful near the sea and the pier, the houses are big and clean, the food is home cooked and very tasty, the scenery is dream like and the staff is so pleasant. Nai was able to make us feel at home, he was always here to help us and honestly, i’ve never seen someone this dedicated to his work. He’s a hard worker and a very social person, he took us to see some monkeys etc…. Our stay wouldn’t have been the same without him !

Simple but beautiful bungalows placed in a very nice garden. The call of the hornbill birds will wake you up, best alarmclock ever. The rooms are clean, the comfort is low standard, but that was what we where looking for. It feels like Thailand 20 years ago. A great place to relax and calm down. The family is very friendly especially Tik. He is a very helpful and nice guy who speaks very good English.

Worst experience EVER – and we didn’t even make it! ⭐ 0/10 (and that’s still too high) If this resort proves one thing, it’s that you can redefine customer service… in the worst way imaginable. We booked one night at Koh Phaluay Eco Resort, but food poisoning literally left me in bed feeling dead. Our itinerary completely ruined. What do you do? You try to contact them to cancel or at least make arrangements. We sent multiple messages. How many replies did we get? ZERO. Radio silence. Complete ghosting. Until… two days later. “We’ll arrange a taxi to pick you up.” Seriously? Two days after our first message?! As if we’re up for that when I’m hanging dying over a toilet. Then we tried to contact them again. Guess what? Ignored. Again. If this is how they treat guests before you arrive, I don’t even want to know what they’re like once you’re there. You might want to bring an SOS torch, as there are clearly no answers to any questions. Conclusion: This resort is not eco-friendly, not friendly, and certainly not customer-focused. More like: Eco-Ghost Resort. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else.
