I’m truly disappointed to be writing this review, because this hotel used to be one of my favorites. I’ve always loved the vibes and energy, especially thanks to the amazing animation team. A huge shoutout to Mr. Mamadou, Léo and Mr. Badis — they truly made our vacation colorful, joyful, and full of unforgettable memories. When you’re around the animation team, you forget about any issues. They’re the soul of the hotel.
That said, the rest of the experience sadly didn’t live up to that energy, and a few negative interactions left a lasting impact that has changed my view of this place entirely.

❌ What went wrong:
• Reception experience was cold and disrespectful:
When I arrived, the receptionist barely acknowledged me. Maybe it’s because I’m a backpacker and don’t “look luxurious,” but she outright told me I didn’t have a reservation, even after showing my voucher. No welcome, no smile, no information about meal times or hotel services — just handed me the key and turned away. It felt dismissive and unprofessional.
• Room had ants:
For a 4-star hotel and the price charged, having ants in the room is unacceptable. Cleanliness and pest control should be basic standards.
• Lunch service was chaotic:
The organization in the restaurant was very poor, and to make things worse, you had to queue up just to get a glass. That was shocking and definitely not what you’d expect from a 4-star resort.
• Rude and humiliating treatment at checkout:
The worst part of my stay happened at the very end. After checking out, a girl with glasses at the reception was incredibly rude — not just cold, but actively disrespectful in how she spoke to me.
Then, as I was leaving, the agent at the entrance stopped me with a condescending tone, saying:
“Did you leave the key inside? Because when you leave a hotel, you’re supposed to.”I
The implication was clear — he assumed I was clueless just because I’m a backpacker. That moment was humiliating and felt like a slap in the face after enjoying most of my stay.
✅ What was good:
• The animation team is truly top-tier — they brought joy, energy, and life to every moment. If it were just about them, I would come back in a heartbeat.
📝 Final thoughts:
It’s a shame, because I really loved staying here in the past. But due to the behavior of just two people, my perception of the hotel is completely changed. I felt judged, mistreated, and disrespected — not as a guest, but as a person. That’s something I can’t forget.
Unless serious improvements are made in the reception staff’s attitude and training, I won’t be returning.

This hotel has strange practices. Upon your arrival to check-in, the reception will immediately put a plastic strap on your wrist to indicate the level of service that you are entitled, without actually telling you why. Then they will exchange your passport for a room key.

My wife needed to use a wheelchair for traversing the vast grounds. We had to rent it from the Hotel, the only one in our multi day tour.
The food was mediocre and some dishes were non-edible.
Luggage porter services were not available.
